What a cute Mother's Day project! They have those sort of things at our local Lowe's too but we've never taken advantage of it. Yay for the upcoming movie night!

The little trucks turned out very cute, and they kids had a great time doing it. Our movie night was a BLAST...keep scrolling to see what we did!

HOW FUN!!!! the flower truck are so adorable!!! What no picture of the finished product with markers?!?!

Well, her marker idea did not turn out as she had envisioned...so she ended up using the stickers.

Fantastic movie night...one of our faves so far! Update coming up!

And what a nice thing at Lowe's does. I'm not sure ours has ever done that. Nice job by the kids.

Those pizzas were so good... especially since I have been trying to eat better lately. They were a great treat for me!

I would like to preface this by saying we were very disappointed in this movie. It was not at all what we expected. We did make the most of it by keeping each other cracked up with our sarcastic commentary. Movie aside, this ranks as one of our favorite movie nights overall. We truly had a blast!

Before dinner we all headed outdoors for the activities. This is where we had SUCH a fantastic time. It all started out like this:

The fun didn't stop there! We then headed up to the patio for some Mexican Hat Dancing:













Brian did participate, too, but folks kept getting in the way of getting a picture of it. We had so much fun doing this. We were all laughing so hard. I know I have said it before, but this family is so much fun and we cannot wait to share this vacation with them!

After all the activity, we moved inside for some grub:





We all settled in for the movie after dinner. Again, the movie was a disapppointment, but the company made it all worth while! OH, and dessert...did I mention dessert...it was Soooooooooooo good! Rochelle made HOMEMADE churros and HOMEMADE chocolate ganache for dipping. And she even brought little tiny red solo cups for the sauce.



Our next movie night is sure to be AWESOME!!!!

Yes, the movie was quite a disappointment to say the least. We still had a blast that night...the bonus in hanging out with all around FUN folks.

Such fun stuff going down on Muppets night! Our menu for the Three Caballeros was: Fiesta Cucumber Salad, Pollo Loco with Mexican Rice, Pintos and Cheese, and Churros with Chocolate Ganache for Dipping.

P.S. Did you notice I added another ticker? Brian's parents just bought a condo in Gulf Shores, AL. We will be spending the week of July 4th down there. CANNOT WAIT!!

Hi! You probably think I abandoned your PTR but I haven't, I promise. Life has been crazy busy BUT next week school is out and then I hope to spend some more time on the DIS.

Your Three Caballeros movie night looked like so much fun! Your pictures really show how much fun you all were having!

The Mickey ice cream cones look great! I'll have to make those some time. They looked easy enough for even me to make.

The kids are out of town this week, but something extremely exciting happened last night, and Brian and I literally did a happy dance in the bedroom. Wanna know what happened?





















WE PAID OFF THE CRUISE!!!!!

We also did something else fun... We made our reservations for the night BEFORE the cruise. As you may have remembered, we are renting a big passenger van to travel down with the QUACKATTACK family. Upon arriving in Port Canaveral we will be checking into this lovely place:



Where we have reserved a family suite:



I am sure we will get in early enough to get in a swim:



My cousin and her girls are planning to meet us for dinner, and I am hoping we get to eat here:



The sign is hard to read, but this would be Fishlips Bar and Grill. Why do we want to eat here? This is the home of the Port Canaveral Webcam where one can watch the ships come in and out of the port. I hope we can snag one of these tables:



So that we will be able to sit out by the water. I know that there won't be any sailings in or out at night time...but still, I love eating outdoors, and the view is fantastic I am sure.

So, we are well on our way to some real planning now. And our countdown is.....
