Watch Disney Movies Online

Hi everyone, I didn't know about this, but my brother informed me that if I had bought certain Disney movies with a digital copy, then I should register them and I can watch them online as long as I sign into my Disney Movie Rewards account, which is free. So I signed up and I am super excited about it. I registered them through the disney movie rewards website, and from there it brings you to this other Disney portal that lets you watch the movies. My movies are listed under the MyAccount tab. This can only be done for certain movies right now (mine are UP and Bolt), but hopefully Disney will add more in a little while.

Perhaps this is old news, but I haven't seen any discussion about it so I thought I would share the info. It will be really nice not to have to haul DVDs around and for the impluse times when you have some free time and want to watch a Disney movie...enjoy!

I know the movies I have purchased with a digital copy(disney or any others) I was able to download the movie to my computer using itunes or windows media player so I could watch it on the computer or put it on my ipod or whatever. I don't have to stream them online. I just put in the disc and it launches itunes or wmp whichever I choose then I type in the code and the download starts. I can watch all these movies even without a internet connection as they are now on my computer.

I just got an email about this from Disney Movie Rewards this week so it must be new. I haven't tried it yet.

Happy to hear that is working so well for you. I just thought this is kind of an interesting idea and that people who didn't know about it would find it interesting. Certianly there are situations for me in which I would find this useful and thought others might too. Options are a good thing!
