Back in Feb I booked our round trip flights out of IAD to MCO. Both were Non-Stop flights. Something told me to check my schedule tonight and I couldn't believe they had me on a 1 stop flight for the return leg. Original booking was on a non-stop flight #719 which departed at 3:51 PM and arrived at 5:54 pm. The AirTran website no longer showed flight 719. They had me departing MCO with a lay over in Atlanta for 40 min. But then I noticed they had Flight 725 listed which was Non-stop departing at 3:56 PM? So I called and the agent was very pleasent but said oh fligt 719 was cancelled and they just put on a flight that was close to you original flight. I said flight 725 is only 5 min off why wasn't I put on that one? she had no answer. I then asked why I wasn't notified? again she had no answer except I'm sorry. So check those flight times.

Good catch:thumbsup2

That happened to us on American.. flight time change by :10min and instead of the airline computer assigning us on that flight they put us on a flight a day earlier with a 14hr layover in Miami:confused3

Once I spoke with American they reassigned us to the flight that was :10min later and all was well..

How much did you get your airtran flight for.. I am flying out of IAD (or Reagan) and I am sooo not wanting to book Airtran cause of all the changing of times BS... SW hasnt realesed their flights yet, and I cant use RAC on the way home from my resort... Tempted to just pay the $220/PP RT for Ted...

Airtran did that to us last year as well. Our return flight was cancelled and they moved us to an earlier flight which we missed, luckily we had only a 2 hr wait and since that flight was non-stop (which we orginally wanted and couldn't get) we got home at the same time. I will be checking this year though!

I was able to get $79.00 each way for our flight, which is a great fare. Yes they did move us to the non-stop flight. I was just upset that they didn't call to tell me. I can understand flight times can change by a few minutes or so, I wouldn't expect a call, but when the flight is cancelled and they move you to another flight that is completely diferent. I would think that would justify a call or at least an e-mail. :confused3 But I am watching them like a hawk now... :charac4:
