Absolutely. Especially after winning the MAJOR MOM AWARD...at least macaroni necklaces can slip down inside your shirt. You are a sweetheart for wearing the hat to dinner and I am sure he will remember that for a long, long time.

Who let him pick that out??:rotfl:

My husband. He took the boys to the local Fred's store (like a very mini cheap Wal-Mart-ish store), gave them $5 each, and said they could buy whatever they wanted for Mommy's birthday present. My 2 year old bought me a pack of dish cloths. I'm not kidding. Here's the proof:

Look quick. I am so not leaving that picture in my photobucket album for long.

OH, that is priceless :rotfl: I will never laugh at anyone wearing some getup like that again for I will remember it just might be mom wearing those proud boys birthday presents :teacher: Hats off to you (pun intended) for wearing it with such grace & style :worship: I don't know if I could have done the same....at least not out in public ;) Make sure they pick out something equally nice for Fathers Day :rolleyes1

What a cute pic RV!

Even if you get it out of photbucket, that is a keeper. Kids are so sweet (sometimes). Yes I think Father's Day is a day he should remember too!:lmao:

VERY cute, RV! (The kids AND the gift! ;) )

I agree, I agree, I agree! Great pic, and it's not so bad...;) I think it's so sweet, I bet he thought you looked beautiful! Now how did you manage to wear the dishcloths so you could be equal for both boys?

Wait...back up the truck...$1772 for car registration? Holy Schmoly!
Well, $1300 was for tax, the rest for registration. Nebraska= the Tax-me state!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I am 21 twice over. Does that mean I get to drink twice as much?

My 6 year old was very proud of the present he picked out for me all by himself. It is a very large, very red straw hat, complete with silk flowers on the brim. I think I deserve a major mom award for wearing the hat when we went out to dinner. It was just to the local pizza buffet, but still...
You look smashing in that red hat! ANd you deserve major mom points for that one.

Mk--you look so naked, I didn't even recognize you:rolleyes:

I may leave Gremlins up to my DD. She is 14, you'd think shhe could handle it, but she doesn't sleep well after scary (even slightly scary) movies. To this day she still will walk out of the room when she sees anything with The Land Before Time (I think that's what they're called--the animated dinosaur movies with Sharp Tooth--she hate him!)

RV - I bet your son was very proud that you wore that hat to dinner. Your boys are cute!!

It's rainy here today. Gonna be all weekend too. :sad2:

Awww how sweet of your kiddos :) Even nicer of you to wear that hat ;)
I am ready to send my kids off to a boot camp or something. Schools not even out yet, but I am already dreading summer if their attitudes are going to be like they are now. Time to lay down some serious law here or something! UGH
Is 4th grade the magic number to turn into a jack-***????

Marcia! (Meb...)

Just wanted to stop by and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you today!!!

Rv, Hey now you can say you're a member of the red hat society.:lmao: Yo
u need to keep a copy of the pix so you can show you boy when he gets to be a dad, he will REALLY appreciate it then.

Here is it friday afternoon on a holiday weekend, I'm stuck in a hotel room until sunday for a baseball tournament and me having a brain fart let my ds bring his wii. Now I can't even watch tv and I'm just waiting for 12 other 13 years olds to invade my room. "What was I thinking, letting him bring the wii?"
Thank goodness the room has wireless internet so I can surf the disboards. And I left my wine coolers at home in the fridge and I will NOT go buy more-saving every penny for WDW. I just keep hearing Donna Summer sing in my ear "I will survive!":rolleyes1

I am home also. I just never seem to post over here to much. The house is kinda empty these days

Happy Monday, oops, I forgot it's Tuesday. Oh well, there goes keeping things straight this week. Anyway Happy Whatever Day it is to all!!:dance3:

Oh, baby. I am home. Just have nothing interesting to say...:worried:
I really don't either, but more than that, just finding it hard lately, to get on the net and play. And to think school will be out in 5 days at kids will be home, taking over my computer :scared1:
