Wow, how did you know? It was fine. Sort of ordinary I guess that is what happens when you get "old" like me
The 4 of us went out to dinner at my favorite Mexican joint, then I watched American Idol. Glad it is over for another year!

We stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort which was nice. Not as cool as the Hard Rock Hotel, but saved us about $200.

It ain't Disney, but it's a fun weekend!

I love it! I have not been to Universal or IOA. I have done a lot of partying at City Walk tho! Anyway, that came up as a consideration this summer. Glad you had a good time

Hey, have any Losers done the Crayola neckties? I bought two of them at Walgreens today for Father's Day (DH and FIL) but was wondering if anyone had any tips, etc. They look cool but not sure DD will color enough to fill it up...

Did she color them yet? I have never even heard of this til now. Interesting!

I had one in my cart at Target today, too, but then I put it back. Figured I will wait for more reviews and I didn't want to spend too much after writing a check for $1772 for my car registration today. I also got National Treasure 2 dvd and picked up Gremlins on dvd. It's been over 200 years since I saw that movie--do you remember if it's scary at all? My DD is unusually scared by some movies (she won't see any movies with her friends that are scary)

I got National Treasure, too! we missed it at the theaters. I haven't opened my WiiFit yet...I may take it back. I have a membership at the Y that I never use..but I DID get the last one..

I remember Gremlins getting a little scary. The Mogwais are really cute, but the Gremlins are nasty...

I had a Sharpei that we named Mogwai. She was a cute little bundle of wrinkles on the outside, and a devilish Gremlin waiting to get out..

Did you know that Howie Mandel did the voice for Gizmo? I just found that out...


I feel for ya, we get taxed to death for our car registrations, too.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I am 21 twice over. Does that mean I get to drink twice as much?

My 6 year old was very proud of the present he picked out for me all by himself. It is a very large, very red straw hat, complete with silk flowers on the brim. I think I deserve a major mom award for wearing the hat when we went out to dinner. It was just to the local pizza buffet, but still...

Absolutely. Especially after winning the MAJOR MOM AWARD...at least macaroni necklaces can slip down inside your shirt. You are a sweetheart for wearing the hat to dinner and I am sure he will remember that for a long, long time.
