Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Actually, now that I think about it, they didn't duck out after the sermon, they walked up for communion, turned right, and there instead of turning right again to go back to their seats, they would continue straight out the door. Someone wasn't thinking when they put a door right there! My DH would go...."OK, watch this guy...zzzzzppp! out the door...there goes another one.........zzzppp! out the door"..:rotfl:

DH and I call that the Communion walk:rolleyes1

I thought I might be invisible.

Off to make the potato salad for dinner (FE's grilling burgers tonight :cool1: )
Was supposed to make it to go with yesterday's dinner (brats with peppers and onions & baked beans) but the ball game ran waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late.

Who wants to help me chop everything for the salad?

Not me, but I will help you eat it! ( ala little red hen...)

:headache: Just shoveled out the kids' rooms....

How did I know someone would give that answer

If you can get here in 2 hrs. I'll set an extra plate out.

:confused3 What did you expect?:rotfl:

sorry, I would need about 6 or 7 hours to get there. It would have to be one heckuva meal..

I have been trying to get to that point all day. It took me half an hour to clean the bed rails where crumbs and stuff fall and stick...

NO MORE EATING IN YOUR ROOMS!!!

I did wash their sheets, and made their beds..so they are clean at least.

Hey Losers!
Been a busy day. I love potato salad Tink, save some for me will ya? I can make it but sometimes I mess it up (don't wask how, I just do:rolleyes: It's one of those things)
We had a long service at church today--just over an hour-- but that's because of Confirmation. DD is officially a member of the church. She signed the book and everything. AND this is the big one-----SHE WORE A DRESS! Yes, my tomboyish 14 year old put on a dress. I will post a pic over yonder when I get it off the camera. We took her mentor and family out to Red Robin after church so I don't think I'll have to cook dinner--we're still full. We don't usually go to the 11am service because it seems to take up our whole day (not getting home until afternoon) and because DH is not into the band that plays and the 'different' music. He prefers a more traditional service with traditional hymns. I kinda liked the fun music with a full band--guitars, piano, keyboard, drums/other percussion, trumpet, trpmbone, flute, etc. It's quite the band.
Oh, and the pastor read DD's poem at church today (actually at all three services) I should post it over there, too. I am very proud of her, but she was horribly embarassed(she did give him permission to use it, just didn't think he'd have it up on the big screen for everyone to see and then point her out to the congregation).

I watched the end of the race while I napped on the couch (well, I dozed a little but I heard it) and saw the big wreck at the end--anyone see that?

DH and DS are out mowing the lawn. I pay DS $5 for doing the front and the back but he still needs supervision as he is only 10 (11 in June). SHhhh! Don't tell him that I am a cheapskate! He thinks he's making good money! :rotfl:

Just talked to my mom on the phone and she mentioned that she had ice cream. Now I want some, too. Would it be bad if that's what we had for dinner? Maybe a trip to Sonic is in order, but we have to take DH's truck since there's no eating in my van (I say this but it probably won't last. I just like how it's not trashed right now)

So what's up? I see we have had a couple new visitors. Welcom Mr. PH and Princess W!:)

My dad just gave me the stink eye. I told him before I leave the house today that I am going to go grocery shopping...in their freezer.

I have no food.

Don't tell DS but I pay myself $20 when I cut the grass, it goes into the WDW kitty. Hey, they pros around here earn $40..

 I'm sorry youre sick. What kind of final involves watching a movie with a friend?

I would say that washing all the clothes while you are sick is borderline Super Woman..unless of course, you didn't fold or put away.

Shhhh...don't tell her that! She should know up front that Moms are expected to do the laundry whether they are sick or not. Here she is doing laundry when she is sick and little Marlin just wants to lick her face! HE doesn't care if the laundry is done or not. (Marlin doesn't wear clothes, does he??) ;)

Hey, I just had to stop in to thank whoever recommended "Stop Dressing your Six Year Old Like A Skank". I was alughing so hard at the first three chapters, I was crying.

At that point, DS took it and is now reading it. Knucklehead.

I'm also reading that book and Howling with laughter!

I'm glad y'all are enjoying it as much as I did. I am reading the prior one now "We're Just Like You only Prettier-Confessions of a Tarnished beauty queen." I was going to post some of the exerpts last Sunday, but...

It is equally hysterical.
