Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

I dropped statistics twice in college until I got the ONE prof that wasn't as difficult as the other one, who was horrible...I got a "C" and I was thrilled! (the second time I dropped it the day before I would have to accept a "D") Needless to say, I hate statistics. I was always really good in math, caught on to algebra and calculus pretty well. But Trig and stats were my achillis (sp) heel.

Is this job just always going to be more work than the last one, or are you adjusting still? You seem to be working a lot harder.

Until I get everything the way I want it (should only take three or four years) I will be working my fanny off...but I like it.

That's the important thing, that you like it. How is the daycare going?

It seems to be better...he still has bad days here and there, but then, he's a three and a half year old boy.

I remember when my daughter was three and a half I wanted to give her away...when she turned 4 it was like a switch turned off....the naughty switch. She still has her moments, but I want to throttle her much less then I did when she was three and a half.

It doesn't change when they get older, the urges to throttle just get stronger.

Hey all :)

Just wanted to pop in for a quick "hi".

Have a conference call in 15 min with a company that I might want to become a part of. I'll tell you the juicy details later.

Hope everyone survived today.

I just barely did, after tonight's homework called "the garbage hat" :scared: But, hey, what 5 yo doesn't want to wear garbage on their head?

Be back later

This is SO encouraging to me! It is like the naughty switched flipped on her Third B-day! So happy to hear it changes!:cool1:

Oh. Nevermind. :sad2:

Some of my teeth are still sore from all the probing but all in all it's not as bad as last time where I had so many x-rays I thought I was going to glow in the dark.

:lmao: How did I miss this yesterday????? I think it's time to pull out the alien smiley!

Morning all!

This is the message that apppears instead of the cute "good morning" smiley I was trying for. Photobucket must not be working today. Hope this isn't an indicator of what's to come in my day.

GOOD MORNING LOSERS!! Here's a little hug to start our day. I have some errands to run and then I have promised myself that between loads of laundry I would tackle the spare bedroom that has become a dumping ground for everything we don't feel like finding a place for. I'm not even going to take a picture, I would be embarrassed for even my loser friends to see it.

Y'all have a great day! Oh yeah, I started the second book by that author I like, this one is titled, "We're jus tlike you only prettier-confessions of a tarnished southern belle." It's very funny. I will post some excerts that made me think of y'all a little later.

Everyone have a great day...be good!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone has a great day (but don't be too much of a winner ;))! Kellie, I hope you get plenty of rest - sleep for a week if you feel like it!

Someone mentioned something about a child's naughty switch being turned off at 4 - I HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! My dad made the mistake of telling DD that we're all going to WDW for her birthday (we had planned on surprising her) - so it's been total drama here for the past few days. She is such a diva. :sad2: When she gets to be a teenager, it may be kind of hard for me to DIS b/c I'll probably have trouble typing with my straight-jacket on! :scared:

This totally sounds like something I'd like. Please make sure to tell us a little bit about it! :goodvibes

:rotfl: That rings a bell

Morning.
Never came back around last night cause we ended up watching Finding Nemo & then played GH for a bit :ssst: FE and I were up till alittle after 1am playing that darn game

DD woke us up around 5am this morning because of the storms and crawled into bed with us.
Now it's still raining and I have a strong feeling that the baseball game will be canceled for tonight. I still don't understand why they don't pull out the darn tarp to cover the infield. THAT"S WHAT IT"S FOR YOU DOPES!!!!! Sorry mini vent, been holding it in for acouple of years.

FE is on shift today so we won't see him here till tomorrow morning, unless we bring him some dinner. Now I'm gonna catch up on what I missed here on the Dis

 I mean I'm gonna clean the house from top to bottom while he's at work :rolleyes1
Hi honey:lovestruc

:lmao:

Off to library and then grocery store so I will pop in here and there Enjoy!:goodvibes

HI all

Just poppin by before going off to work, yuck, have to set up for two parties for a total of 300 people, I already am achiing.

have a great day!:goodvibes

grrrr-Someone made a really rude comment in the elevator about my department:mad: Atleast I don't have to tell her hi anymore when I see her!

Want me to send Luna over to crap in her shoe??:rotfl:

It doesn't change when they get older, the urges to throttle just get stronger.
That's the truth!:thumbsup2 Actually, as long as you leave 'em alone, teenagers can be pretty good. Sometimes you never even know they're there--becasue they are alone in their room or on the phone or computer or texting, or....

HRH--I bought that book "Stop dressing Your 6-Year Old Like A Skank" (or something like that) and read the 1st chapter out loud to DH. He :lmao: so he says he's gonna read it too. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi honey:lovestruc

:lmao:

I love when games are rained out! The bad thing about cancelled bball games is that they have to be re-scheduled, usually in the form of a double-header on a day when you have other plans and you're only given 12-hour notice. (been there!)

Wow-- sure was quiet here yesterday. Still looking for a van. Drove a couple more last night. Torn between the Toyota and the Honda. Think we may go Honda as there are more to choose from. Now we just gotta choose which dealer and make the deal and all that crap--the yucky part. I'm starting to get excited that I might actually get a new car. I heard some 'clunking' when I was out running around yesterday:scared: . But our mechanic still wants to buy it so:yay: .

Off to the commissary today. Wish me luck that I don't end up spending a fortune. Hoping to get out of there for $200 or less.
