We are bringing our cub scout pack to DC and VA for the Memorial ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Anyone have any tips on the area or how we can make sure we get in for the ceremony. Everything I've found says so many people are admitted on a first come first serve basis.

The few times I've gone, the area hasn't filled up. Unless you're going during a special event, I don't think you'll have a problem.

Thanks for the info. We are planning to go on Memorial Day so I'm guessing it will be pretty crowded, I think the website said 5,000 would be admitted. Has anyone here been on Memorial Day?
