washing wool sweaters???

Can you hand wash a wool sweater with woolite or something and not ruin it?

It depends. A lot of manufacturers use low labeling (that's when the washing instructions are overly cautious to avoid liablility). If it's 100% wool, it's pretty risky, if it's a blend, it might be ok.
