Stopping at POFQ in just over two weeks. DW wants to know if the washing m/c have slots for fabric conditioner?:confused3

They are top load tub machines so you put all your powder etc in at once. Very easy to use just open tub put clothes in pour in powder and start.

The ones in POR have the top loaders but also a couple of front loaders just like at home. The top loaders you have to wait for the cycle to finish washing before you load in the conditioner, at least thats how I ended up doing it! :)

they usually have a machine at inside the laundrette where you can buy washing powder ect not to sure about fabric conditioner as DW would take some in a small bottle.
why would a man know about fabric conditioner? me i dont know what an iron is.think he is letting the side down:thumbsup2

I love toploaders and really miss mine! British kitchens don't really allow for them!

I just put the fabric conditioner in with the soap powder. Just remember to make sure you put the coins in the slots for the right machine. In a blonde moment last year I put the detergents and washing into the machine, put the money in and realized after starting it that I had put the coins into the adjacent machine not the one I had loaded :rotfl:

Don't worry you're not alone on that one:rotfl: It's obviously very easy to make that mistake IMO:rolleyes:

I just use the 3 in 1 sheets, that way you can just put it in with your washing and forget about it and then it just goes straight into the dryer! :thumbsup2

My mum was desperate for me to share what she does at POFQ!

She washes the clothes with normal powdery stuff in the top loaders, then pops them in tumble dryers with Bounce or Snuggle fabric conditioner sheets. They're available in laundry room or in the hotel shop. Made the clothes smell very fresh and they were very soft. I followed this last year whilst on honeymoon and the clothes were fab. We took our ariel washing tablets with us and crumbled them into the machines for washing!

I took my own dryer sheets to ASMu in a sealed sandwich bag. (Made the suitcase smell nice too :))

I miss the Purex sheets - I used the last of my supply out of my OL in February and can't buy them now :sad2: Ended up buying some dryer sheets and taking Bold from home. Its really not the same :sad2:

I forgot to add that I put a few of the bounce type sheets in my case amongs my clothes so when I get there they still smell fresh. We have then used them in the dryer and they still work fine.

Same when I store my holiday clothes i put a few in my case in the loft and it works great. I put fresh ones in before we go.
