But my co-workers will think I'm (even more) nuts. They already heard me yell when I saw him on the floor of my office.

He could've talked to the beta (Murphy) in the next tank.

At the office, with a beta nearby. Bad combo. The betas I've known in office situations were all suicidal (all but one). And all of them were successful in their attempts. And...a beta who has jumped out of their tank...well, it isn't pretty, at least not in the office I was in! It's almost like the pressure change of being out of the water...does something...pressurized...to their beta bodies.

Be glad your snail didn't have that same reaction to being out of the tank. You could have an open casket snail funeral if you wish to. Not like the beta owners I worked with!

are we seeing a pattern with snails named gary? are they driven to suicide because of the name? I think we need to call the local news-station to do some investigative reporting. This could be BIG!

Maybe you could call a psychic and see if they can channel Gary to see what his final wishes were? I'm sure Sylvia Brown could speak to him.
