When we went to WDW last October, we only had two days at the parks. On the first day, while we were waiting for the bus, we couldn't decide which park to go to first, but when we saw the first bus to MK take 90% of the crowd we boarded the next one which was to EPCOT. Hardly a crowded bus from POFQ through POR, and got to EPCOT right at openning. Hit soaring and got a FP immediately...rode soaring, did The Land and it was Soaring time again. Walked over to MS and rode with no line, then to TT which we rode twice in a row with virtually no line. Did we just luck out, or is there a method to this madness of going to the park with the fewest people on the bus?

As you did it only once you need to go back and do more testing to this theory.

I suggest at least a 2 week trip and do this every day noting all results.

I think you did luck out during the F&W festival Epcot is normally packed but the morning were light last year for us as well and then it picked up and was packed later in the day.

You lucked out. Ive always thought of it like that and it hardly is ever true. Just because that specific bus load may be light doesnt mean the one before it or after it will be also. You also have to factor in people from other resorts and people driving in. A slightly better way to get light crowds is to go on specific days.

I agree, this theory needs more testing. And, I think we should all work on it together!! I think weeks and weeks of testing.
