I was thinking you could get a cheeseburger and fries there, but now I am not seeing it on the menu?

I have no idea what I was thinking!

:thumbsup2

You were thinking right!! They aren't listed on the dinner menu but you can order them. In March we went for dinner(this is a regular spot for us now:banana: ) and DH asked the waitress and she said oh sure like she gets asked that questions 100 times a day. I have never tried them but everytime we go DH orders it.

Wouldn't you just go to a counter service restaurant for this?

I'm sure I see the appeal in a more expensive burger and fries?

Yeah that would probably makes sense.. I am a little afraid of CS though.. lol

I think DH would enjoy the Baby Back Ribs but I am not seeing anything on the menu that appeals to me....

Trina, I'm with ya! If I'm at Sci-Fi, I get the cheeseburger and fries and a coke. It's the idea of being at the movies in the 50s and in keeping with the theme--that's what you get! Sept 07 I special ordered it and loved it! Along with my strawberry shake on such a hot day!

I had always heard that Sci-Fi had terrible food, but thought maybe people were picky...

I went there in January with 5 other people and I got the cheeseburger which I ordered Medium Well. (sometimes I get medium) I kept thinking the texture seemed odd but couldn't see because it is so dark in there. By the time I got to the middle it was soggy and realized something was wrong.
It was completely rare and the waitstaff apologized said it should have never been served like that.

I ended up getting a kids pizza (which was cardboard with sauce). They still charged me full price for the burger which was a couple of dollars more than the pizza, but I didn't feel like complaining again so I just paid & left. (my own fault)...

Everyone else's meals were pretty bad too, and no one was happy. The other 5 people are very laid back, happy go lucky people.

MY FAMILY OF 7 ARE NOT PICKY EATERS AT ALL.
WE DON'T DO FAST FOOD MUCH ANYMORE BUT BACK IN 05 WHEN WE WENT TO SCI-FI WE WERE THINKING THE SAME AS YOU DRIVE IN MOVIE, BURGER,FRIES ,ONION RINGS AND MILKSHAKES, NOT!
WE ALL ORDER SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND ONLY MY SON LIKED HIS FOOD.(HE GOT THE RIBS) EVERYONE ELSE WAS GROSSED OUT FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. THE DESSERT WAS GOOD THOUGH SO IF YOU WANT TO JUST EXPERIENCE IT MAYBE JUST HAVE THE DESSERT?
JUST MY ACCOUNT OF SCI-WHY????LOL:laughing:

Great double bacon cheese burger with topping bar included at Pacos Bill in the MK for a CS.

Dang it we have a reservation here for June, now I am thinking we shouldn't waste our money. Maybe I should switch to Prime Time???

we eat there every yr and altho its not stellar, we havent had any prob, its a basic burger meal for us and we go every trip!;)

We love 50's primetime.... especially fun if you tell them when you check in that "you want to play"... good food... especially the milk shakes!:thumbsup2

we liked it. Our meal was good and kids were thrilled with the drive in atmosphere. All in all we enjoyed it.

Of all the times we ate here being on the dining plan, we have always paid oop for this one. It is a waste of a credit if you choose to use it. We go for the atmosphere and to get out of the heat. Don't mind paying for one meal if the rest are free!
