Just a word of caution to any of you out there who modify a reservation with a discounted rate! Hopefully I can save you the hassle I've had today. I called today to take 2 days off of my reservation. I found great airfare on Southwest ($118 RT!) and couldn't pass it up. But, it required me to cut the trip short a few days.
After Disney modified the dates for me, they proceeded to quote me my new balance--at regular rack rate!! Apparently when the reservation was modified the discount was removed somehow. Not a big deal if this was a CRO ressie and I had a confirmation to prove that I had the rate to begin with before the change. Instead, this was a WDTC package and there was never a confirmation when it was first booked (just my reservation #). So, it is basically my word against their's. The discount is no longer available obviously (the agent tried to book it all over again) so this is a mess. I have a supervisor working on it--it still isn't fixed.
So, just be sure you double check your rates when you modify your ressie!
