Warning! Paramount's 6 day PHP with breakfast voucher...

Hi Grahamstarr

Bought a Paramount Fun in the Sun pass from here in the UK.

Didn't have access to Fax machine so just photocopied the details requested and posted them to their office.

Tickets came the other day - no problems.

That's great news! If you aren't in a hurry just mail your info to them. give them a call first and let them know you want to mail it in.

Colin:

WE are leaving in 14 days so I don't think I will have enough time to do that...I am feeling better about faxing the info to them now since so many of you wrote in saying you have successfully done business with them....

I just need to find a secure fax location to do it from...

thanks

Laura

Your local bank or (god forbid) credit union should be able to do it for you. They may charge you a couple of bucks for the long distance call because the fax is not a toll-free number (unless that has changed). Ours came via mail, but required a signature. So make sure you have it delivered to a work address if you won't be home to sign for it.

Our breakfast vouchers were missing which was a boo-boo but I called and they mailed them out right away.

Its not our fav job but we are faxing stuff for our bank customers all the time. It only takes a few seconds unless there is a connection problem.

I had email confirmation of shipping within 2 hours of faxing the credit card info to them.

Part of this is protection on their part. With merchants online a lot of them have safeguards in place to verify shipping address/credit card address etc. This is their protection - seeing that you actually have possession of that card.

We just used our 7-day PH that we ordered from them and the Breakfast Vouchers. Our vouchers did not list CRT as an option. We weren't going there anyway, so it really didn't matter. We had great service from Paramount - had never used them, so I was skeptical, too. They only made us fax a signature for credit card protection, which I thought was ok. The rep told me not to worry about the credit card copying, so we didn't do that. We did this on extremely short notice - had to have the fax back to them within 2 hours to guarantee delivery before we left for WDW. The rep called me quite a few times when she wasn't receiving my fax due to connection problems, because SHE wanted to make sure we got them on time. Then she called back to confirm the moment she got the fax. I was impressed.

I bought the 7 day php with character breakfast for dis con. Used the breakfast voucher at Boma's (I too believe it is the same ones from Connections). Mine had exp date May 31, 2003. I just picked up my ticket at thier office in Orlando. Its close to disney.

Were Us citizens and got a fun in the sun pass (a month pass with BF cert and free entrance into 6 different places in Fl) (4) back when mousesavers posted it. These pass's look like they were for international custermers but this year they must have let a few go to US residents. It was through travelmania. Others that have used the fun in the sun already said they had no trouble with BF or pass's.

We use ours on Jan 10th-26th.

Actually I think you probably got them from TicketMania. I got mine from them also when they had a special offer for mousesavers. They do look like the "Fun in the Sun" that are sold to international customers except for one thing. The international vouchers say you may need to show a passport. These vouchers did not have the passport statement. I used mine on Nov. 3 and never had any trouble either. I think a few were released for non-international travelers but only for a very short time.

Can anyone who has used one of these passes recently tell me how you go about changing the voucher into real passes ( if that is what you do )?

We use ours ( international ) on 22 Jan. Thanks

Just bring your vouchers to a disney ticket counter outside the parks and they will convert them to the pass's for your stay.

And yes, like I said in my post earlier, the fun in the sun vouchers were purchased through Ticketmania.

When we checked into our hotel on property around 5:00 P.M., we went to the bus stop and waited for the first bus that was going to any of the Disneyparks (except the waterparks). Epcot bus showed up first. We all hopped on the bus and went to Epcot. We then went to Guest Services on the right before you go through the turnstiles. Everyone who has a voucher needs to be there. The adults (older than 18) need an ID (my 14 and 15 year old did not need ID.) They will turn the vouchers into paper tickets. (Be sure to save your breakfast vouchers that are attached to your vouchers...they don't need those)

After we got our tickets we walked to the turnstiles and they did a fingerscan. We walked through and then came back out as we wanted to get back to our hotel and weren't worried about losing a day on the tickets as we weren't using a full 30 days anyway.

Feel free to PM me or email me, if you have any questions.

Thanks. That's useful to know. Good idea going the first evening.
What happens about using the voucher for other places - say Kennedy. Do Disney give passes for that or do we hang onto part of the voucher?

I really wondered about that. The Kennedy and other sites was listed on the back of the voucher that I gave to WDW. (It had places to sign on the back when you visited each place.) We weren't going to any of the other places and never thought to ask. They kept my voucher when they gave me my tickets at WDW. The only voucher I had left was the Breakfast Vouchers. I would think you would need the other voucher back from WDW to visit the other places.

We will be visiting KSC in January with the Fun in the Sun. I asume you keep that part also and show it to them. I will post how it worked when I get back.
