Warning - Newbie with questions!

Sorry. I read the FAQs and still have questions, but I'm sure some kind soul will help me out. I'm looking into renting points at BCV in Oct 2005, and my questions are as follows:

1. Is it OK/acceptable/allowed to book whatever nights you want (like Thurs to Mon), or is it a standard Sat to Sat?

2. Who checks availability for the desired nights? If I have to, who do I call?

3. I assume when whoever checks availability, they need to know what type of unit?

4. What size bed is standard in the studio units? It looks like a full or queen size. Are there any king studios?

Yes, any days may be reserved based on availablity. There are no restrictions as to the number of days - even a single day may be reserved.

A DVC member will have to make the reservation for you. Only members can check availability at DVC resorts using points. CRO can provide cash availability, but that is separate from a rental thru a member.

Availability is specific to the type of room wanted. Some rooms do go quickly.

There are no King studios but all will have at least one Queen bed- some have queen sleep sofas- othes have a double sleep sofa, some have 2 queen beds.
Just post the dates, resort and room type upi're interested in reserving on the Rent/Trade Board and see if a member can assist. You can also respond to one of the offers to rent.

Doc always has great info. Just wanted to add that October is busy due to Food and Wine Festival- reserve asap!
