Oddest thing I have ever experienced at WDW on last weeks otherwise great trip!
We dined at Via Napoli for the first time. Food was ok, nothing great. Service was good as expected. A decent evening. We were on free dining but had ordered a drink. When bill came we as expected owed for our drink. We left cash, enough for the drink and about a 16% tip on our total bill. We headed outside and were almost out of Italy when our waiter came running up behind us saying WAIT..WAIT. He shows us the bill and the cash we left and says we only left enough for the tip and failed to pay for our $7 drink. I explained that a tip is whatever amount we feel like leaving, he said 'Oh', and left. We're a party of 3, no requirement to leave 18 or 20%. 16% we felt was reasonable for the food and service we got.
To chase us outside wanting a larger tip????
