My BIL had a large DLP tv which actually had a nice quality picture and they paid a decent amount for it when they bought it. He has switched cable providers a couple of times in the interest of saving money. Currently he has AT&T. A few weeks ago he turned on the TV and it had no sound. They assumed it was broken and since if was off of the warranty, they needed to get a new one! They bought an LCD, 46" tv and had the "broken" one removed and discarded. Their DS comes home from college for a long weekend, turns on the tv in his room and there is no sound. NOW the "antenna" goes up. BIL calls the cable company and finds out it was a "cable" problem and they need to hit a reset button! It would be funny if it wasn't so sad!

Hmm, is the new TV bigger than the old one? If so I would be suspicious! ;)

Kidding aside, that would terrible!!
