Warning: Le Cellier Menu Has Changed!

Yay! I finally remembered what my DD13 ordered at Le Cellier - it was the chicken with the mustard. It did not taste like mustard. It actually was the best entree in our group. DH had the filet and I had the NY Strip. I actually liked her chicken the best. It was better than Ok. The steaks were just ok. The soup was not good and the mussels were bad. The potatoes that come with the strip were inedible. We were there on March 29. We won't be back. Worst meal of our trip.

We were able to get the chocolate mousse and the smore's dessert. Neither were on the menu though. I knew about them and our waitress said they were an option. this was on 3/29

how about the kids' menu? has that changed--specifically, what are the desserts offered, and can they still get a steak for a couple of extra $$ on the kids' menu?? Thanks!!

Tricia, I was wondering, if the chicken taste alot like mustard? I loved the bbq filet and am disappointed to see it has gone. My husband however likes mushrooms, but I can't remember if he was overly impressed with Le Cellier's mushroom filet or not. I was just thinking that I would enjoy the chicken if it did not have too much of a mustard taste. Not too big a fan of mustard. Thanks!

The mustard taste is not strong at ALL. It just makes the chicken very tender and moist, it was delicious.

the kids menus is basically the same and you can get the steak for a few extra bucks.

I agree about the chicken. Very moist and not a strong mustard taste at all. it actually was pretty good. I wish I ordered that instead of the NY strip.

I usually got the filet with the BBQ sauce too, but I was thinking of trying the NY Strip this time. So hopefully they still have that.

So here is my question...can I now get the filet plain and do they have A-1??? I hope they will substitute the mashed potatoes!!! Gonna say it...this really stinks!!!!

Yes they have A1, unless of course they have taken it away too. Yes my ds actually asked for it.

They still have the NY Strip but they've whacked the price up to $35 as well.

I have never cared for the Maple BBQ filet and don't like mushrooms. I have always been successful in getting the muchroom filet, without mushrooms

yes, they will substitute the mashed potatoes for the risotto. My DH did that. Also, I would stay away from the NY Strip. It was not good and definitely substitute something for the fried potato dish that came with that. it was awful. The new chicken dish was kinda good.

How were the mashed potatoes? I HATED the risotto, so I thought I'd ask for a substitution.

The mashed potatoes were good. It was the only thing my DD ate. She did like them.

I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes also, and mashed potatoes aren't necessarily my 'thing' usually.
