Here's what happens when you leave your child alone for a minute with paints. DD decided to see what it would be like to be a different color. She'll be able to see for several days since her hands, knees and elbows are still discolored   .

Oh bwahahahahaha :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Umm, errr, I mean, Oh my goshness, that is terrible.

*snicker* Save this one for the dating years for sure!!!!

Reminds me of one of our favorite family stories. When DS#1 was about 2 1/2, I thought his Dad was watching him. His Dad thought I was watching him. He got into a large bottle of blue food coloring. As I came into the kitchen to find the mess and ready to blow, he said, "You know, I really like blue!"

Diffused the whole situation! And I'm glad he really liked blue because he was Smurf colored for nearly a week!

Give your cutie a big hug! Mine is 21 y.o. now!

She is so cute. I bet that was fun cleaning that up:D

so cute!! now dont go torturing your daughter when the boyfriends come with that picture!! my mom tried that one time in high school and i was ready to kill her!!now that im almost 20 and commuting to school from home, i told her that when a guy comes here..the pictures stay AWAY!

Did she have fun? I hope so. Brings back memories of my girls as kids.

What a great picture! How did you ever get your bathtub clean after that?

Luckily DD likes to clean as much as she likes to make messes so once I got the worst of it off her I gave her a scrubber and she went to work. Child labor, gotta love it ;) . She had a ball.

That's wonderful! She must have had such fun. Isabella uses Crayola bath crayons to draw on the tub and surround when she's in the tub. One night she decided to draw on herself but it wasn't nearly as impressive looking as your little one's efforts. And the bath crayons washed off pretty easily.

Gee, a few years ago, Buzz did something very similar...except with the contents of his diaper during "naptime"! By the time I found him, he had "painted the sheets, the walls, the bedposts, himself--it was everywhere! It wasn't nearly as cute as your little girl. Boy, was I mad! I think it's funny now, though (but ask me again if #3 tries it!)

I just posted this thought on another thread:

I love (and sympathize with) that photo!! My youngest DD (2 1/2) has done something similar with washable markers. She colored so much of herself blue, that it gave the bath water a black tint!!

OMG that is so cute!! It's amazing how quickly they can get things accomplished :teeth:

LOL, if you want to save that picture you may want to hide it. My oldest went through and found every picture I had like that and burned them so I wouldn't show them to anyone.

My kids cut up their old baby pictures when they found them. I guess they were embarassed in their holloween costumes.

Oh My! She is adorable, no matter what. BTW does she watch Jay Jay the Jet plane, yesterday Tracey also wanted to be a different color.

When my oldest was 3 years old he decided to make the 1 year old look like a TIGER with PERMANATE black marker. I was taking a shower trying to get ready for a trip to the peds office and the baby was in the playpen- the 3 year old climbed into the pen and had a ball- everywhere there was no diaper-arms, legs, feet, eyes, ears, head ( 1 yo was bald ). The funny thing was that he also decided to make himself DOTTED!

So we went to the peds appointment for an ear-ache that afternoon with my tiger and leopard in tow and everyone had a great laugh. The ped asked where all did he dot himself and my son answered "all over- even under my underpants" with a great big smile he then proceeded to pull them down- he was so proud of himself. Next he added "I decorated brother too!" I almost fell out of the chair laughing.

We took pics of him ( all of him :) )and he has threatened to kill us if we ever show them to anyone else! He's 10 and a half now and we haven't dug out the pics lately- I think I'll go look at my old pics!::yes::

i posted once before how my first year of teaching daycare I was showing the 4 yr-olds how a white carnation will change color if the water is colored. We had big vases set up along a table with different colored water dyed with food dye. One day I noticed two of the boys crowded by the table - I couldn't really see what they were doing - I thought they were just getting a close look at the flowers. Well they had dunked both of their arms into the vases up to their elbows. I had to explain to two sets of parents how they were doing their own science experiment and how they 'thought it would be cool to look like the Teenage Mutuant Ninja Turtles'. It took days before it wore off - thank goodness it wasn't around any holiday that required pictures.:bounce:
