Warning: Don't order MYW tickets online from Disney!

I am so mad right now! I ordered my MYW tickets on 4/17, using my Disney rewards card (I also transfered my reward dollars to my rewards card the same day-big mistake). 3 weeks passed and I had not recieved them, so I e-mailed them to find out what was going on-never got a reply. I called them on 5/14 to found out what was up and I got"That order was never processed because of a mix up with your reward card!" Well they got is straight, so I thought, and charged my Disney Visa on 5/16 and my rewards card. Well, I called 5/27 to find out why my tickets still hadn't arrived. They said it takes 14 buisness days (I asked them if they were using Pony Express!) They said they were mailed on 5/18. Ok on6/2 when I still had not received them, they said they would have to wait until 6/6 to send new ones by FED Ex. I got pretty hot under the collar and demanded they go ahead and send new ones now. The CM assured me they would go out the next day and arrive on 6/7 tues. and I could call today to get a tracking #, well, I just found out that they won't go out until Mon due to a mechanical problem on Disney's end!!! I now have to wait until Mon to get a tracking # and my tickets SHOULD be here by Tues or WED and I leave FRIDAY!!

So the moral is-DO NOT ORDER YOUR TICKETS FROM DISNEY ONLINE!

Just a couple of future alternatives:

If you are a member of AAA, you should be able to buy them at your local office.

Also, I believe mousesavers.com and allears.net have preferred vendors that sell them much cheaper than Disney's price.

The service level you're getting from Disney is "SUDL" (So Un-Disney Like)Please post when you get your tix.

We ordered our tickets online the day before we left and picked them up at will call at MK-- it took 2 minutes to pick them up and we were in the park. It may be easier to call them and ask if you can pick up the tickets at will call, then you can be sure to have them. Sorry to hear about your troubles and I hope you get them before you leave.

I ordered three 7 day parkhopper tickets with no expiration date on the Disney website Monday, May 30th and they came in yesterday's mail (Friday, June 3rd).

I couldn't believe how fast we got them. Whatever the problem was it seems they got it fixed.

Wow, that was a good vent.

I came to post I ordered online, and got my tickets within a week, but it would seem the problem here was more with using the Reward Visa perk - and that's just unexcusable to have so many difficulty cashing in on a reward perk!

wow they really are making you work for those tickets. I wouldn't be happy either you ordered in plenty of time and here you are not sure you will have the tickets for your trip on not.
