I Wanna Go Again!! Waaaaaaaa!

I swear, this board is deadly. I start reading posts and then I start dreaming about when we can go again. We just went in November and I'm thinking about how we can squeeze a trip in this summer and whether that's finiancial suicide. (Hey, you can afford anything if you really want it bad enough. Can you say plastic?)

Actually, I really want to go for my birthday next year without the kids but that's early January. I'm afraid it'll be too cold in the Bahamas - there's no way we could get away for a week.

This site is really a gold mine of advertisement for Disney. How many people keep booking because they keep coming here and reading about what a great time everybody else had? If I totally left, would I be able to stop thinking about a cruise?

I know exactly what you mean! We did not even go yet(nov 2thru9th)but I am already planning next years western. My sister said wait and see if you like it first, I know I will after reading all these boards.:p I am also thinking about squeezing a 4 day in with just my hubby.

I had to avoid these boards most of the time when I had to cancel my November and March trips (work responsibilities increased so much that I couldn't get time off). It was just too depressing to see all these people having that much fun!

I booked my Dec. 8 cruise today...:D :D

It's good to be back!

Beth

I couldn't read these boards when I had to cancel our trip last November at the last mins. I was so depressed even though I had rebooked for May. I didn't even come back until I had made our final payment, for fear of being disappointed again. So far, so good. I'm getting more and more excited thinking that perhaps this time the trip may actually happen. (although we had to cancel just 15 days before our trip in Nov., had docs and everything) I'll be happier when I actually board the plane bound for Orlando! I'd love to book a 7-day cruise, but I can't do that until we find out how dh and dd#1 do on the cruise. I'm really hoping that they love it, but we'll have to see.
Oh well, back to reading the boards and getting excited again!

Lisa :)

I totally agree that reading the threads on this board make me want to cruise more. We will be cruising in October for the 4th time, and I am already thinking about planning a 5th.

Yes, this board is fantastic! I thought, after our first cruise, that I wouldn't want to come back here all the time unless we booked another one. But even though we waited awhile to book our second one, I still kept coming back here!! Actually, Karel, January isn't a bad time to cruise. We took the 7-day Magic on 1-13-01 and had a wonderful time, and the weather was absolutely perfect. We were able to keep our verandah door open every night, and were lulled to sleep by the ocean breeze and sound. Spent time at the pool, the day at Castaway Cay was awesome, I don't remember ever having a drop of rain the entire trip and the temperatures were "just right." Not too hot, not too cold. So maybe cruising for your birthday wouldn't be such a bad idea!! :D

It hasn't even been a month since walking of of our ship. Since we are WDW addicts I thought that a good plan would be to do alternating WDW and cruise vacations every year that way doing one or the other every other year would make us appreciate it even more. Well........now I'm freakin spoiled! We just got off 2 back to back cruises and I can't stand the thought of not going next year so guess what? I'm booking the Wonder to add onto the end of our 10 day WDW vacation next year. I just hope it won't be a disappointment after sailing on the Magic!

We cruised last JULY and I'm STILL on these boards every few days!! I'm not sure when our next cruise will be - DH is job hunting and my Catholic School librarian/music teacher/liturgy coordinator salary alone just won't cover the expense :D - but WE WILL CRUISE AGAIN!! In the meantime, I re-live our glorious trip everytime I read a happy post!:earsgirl: :p

We did something REALLY bad.... we booked another cruise, for the fall, and we are at the point where we need to get the bills under control to afford it! (last cruise was paid by VISA) BAD! BAD! BAD!

I agree with Karel regarding being able to afford anything if you want it bad enough.

We were completely spoiled rotten on the cruise, and it is sooo addicting! I find myself dreaming of being back on the ship. Our 5-year old daugher still dreams of the ship to.

Hey, if we make enough excuses, cut back on a few things, and consider it a "sanity loan".... we may be cruising again this fall!

omg!! i just went on the cruise 3/2-3/9 2002 and im already saying lets go back and thinking bout booking the western cruise next march!!! i met alot of kids in the teen place and i miss them and i want to go back!!!!!!!!!

We went in August and I opened a special savings account. All the extra money that comes in from rebates, reward programs, loose change refunds and my birthday goes into that account. When I have enough to pay for the cruise I told DS we would book another.
