Warning about Atlantis!!!

When we went in 2012, we really wanted to go there but when I called was told you cannot buy the aquarium tickets ahead of time, they are first come first serve and usually sell out by 9 a.m. (and tickets go to resort guests first). We knew we wouldn't make it over there by then, so we booked a DCL excursion to there. It included transportation to and from Atlantis, a 25-minute guided tour through the resort and aquarium and then free time. The great thing was that once the "tour" was done, we spent another 3 hours on site going back through the aquarium at our leisure, to the different turtle and fish ponds on property and through the hotel. The shuttle ran every 15 minutes up until 3 p.m. It was well worth the money (we thought) because we didn't have to worry about tickets or cabs. We had a fabulous time.
