Anyone tried it? Tips or suggestions?
A co-worker & I decided to chip in for a spiral ham for next week's office potluck lunch. I've always used Honey-Baked Ham's recommendations and served spiral ham at room temperature, but they're looking at me like I have two heads (maybe it's a southern thing to have it heated?)
So we're going with Sam's Club spiral that has oven instructions & glaze and I was *hoping* it could be reheated 4 hours on low in my slow cooker during the morning. Searching the web shows spiral hams + slow cooker = dried out, but they generally refer to longer times. (I've successfully baked uncut hams, but really prefer using a spiral in this instance for convenience.)
Anyhow, just wondered if anyone had experience they could pass on...
Thanks!
