Boxing Day 2005.
Today dawned foggy and cold, much colder than yesterday.
We decided to go to the Studios today. The decorations were wonderful and I adored the statue of Mickey in his smart Christmas coat!
As soon as we got there, we rode Aladdins Flying Carpets. We all love this ride apart from DH who does it under sufferance!
We watched the Merry Christmas Walt Disney Studios parade which was great as always.
We then went to watch Cinemagique. This was our first time and it was absolutely brilliant! I loved the way each clip follows the next and will definitely do this again!
Afterwards, we met Chicken Little who was very mischievous!
We ate lunch at Rendez-Vous des Stars. It was a very nice meal but I wouldnt choose to go back again as I felt the setting was rather subdued and dare I say, a little boring, especially for children?
It was then time for the Disney Cinema Parade and luckily the rain held off until it had finished. We then watched Animagique, also for the first time. We all loved this, especially the catchy little tune!
We then made our way back to Disneyland and walked through Le Passage Enchante dAladdin, yet another first for us! Unfortunately everyone had the same idea in order to get out of the rain and we were swept along a bit by the crowd!
We tried to get on Big Thunder Mountain but the next available fastpass time would have made us a bit late for Buffalo Bills where we had booked for this evening so we wandered back to the Studios hoping to see Santa Goofy and the Swing Along Santas. Unfortunately the last show was cancelled due to the rain so we just mooched around the shops until it was time to go to Buffalo Bills. This was a great show, we were in the green section who unfortunately didnt win! After reading several reviews of the food I was not expecting much, especially as we were seated near the back and I had read that the food here is usually cold. I am delighted to say our food was piping hot and it was much better than I had expected. My only criticism would be that they would be better serving chicken strips rather than a chicken leg, it is rather dark in there!
After the show we wandered through the Village and had some delicious chocolate strawberries from the market so yummy, these were surely to die for!!!
Then it was time to go back to our hotel and so ended another happy day!
