Wanting a little extra dough!

I was curious, has anyone ever sold their children's clothing or toys to a consignment shop? Was it worth the aggrevation? I thought, that this would be a great way, to get a little extra $ for my Disney trip, but it will also clear out the unused stuff in my basement!

I used to all the time, when my girls were tiny (once they were 2 or 3, the clothes were often too worn out. I chose a shop that paid upfront, not just if the items sold. I used to go twice a year, and would make between $125-$150.
