Wanted to share a "moment" with you all

Today I started my new job in London for the UN.

Because I was early I decided to walk, what you would probably call, the few blocks (a lot of people get the bus but I thought I should start getting into shape.......Idigress ) to my new place of work.

I have worked on and off in the centre of London for the last 13 years but nothing could have prepared me for what I saw and felt today.

Imagine this 08.30 this morning I had to walk along the embankment of The Thames and this was my spectacular view :

It made me feel soooo proud of my capital city that I wanted to share it all with my good friends across the pond

Yup, I agree Sam! London along the river is just beautiful - especially at night when it's all lit up. I never get bored looking 'down' the river whenever I cross one of the bridges
