Want to try Garden Grill at Epcot

If you had to choose between Garden Grill & Beirgarten, which would you pick?

We may have to cut a day but if not, I could replace another one with GG. Either Le Chefs de France or Coral Reef?

Any that you'd loose for GG?

Not enough days for all the places I want to eat this trip, lol!

I would cut Beirgarten. I went once and was not impressed...but then I don't love German food!!

We are big fans of Garden Grill. The food, the atmosphere, the service & awesome character interaction. We did try Coral Reef and it was okay, the atmosphere was certainly better than the food, but I've heard others rave about it. Garden Grill is a must for us every trip.

Keep Garden Grill. We like Biergartens, but enjoy German food which we don't get around where we live.

GG has great food, characters and its relaxing.

Agree with keeping GG too. Its a much tougher ADR to get, and the food and characters are great.

I really like Biergarten, but especially with your kids I think GG is a good choice.

I would dump EITHER Coral Reef or Chefs in favor of Biergarten. It's fun to watch the fish at Coral Reef but you can also do that by just hanging out in the Seas pavillion. Coral Reef's food is just......okay. And the 'vibe' of the restaurant itself did nothing for me. Chefs - to me the food just does not appeal. The food choices at Biergarten are very good (mmmmm......pretzel bread......) and the environment felt much more welcoming to me.

You have a couple pf kids who must eat off the kids menu at Coral Reef and at Chefs whereas at Biergarten they can try anything because it's a buffet; make sure you check both the regular and the kids menu before deciding at both of the TS restaurants as that might help you choose.

We had to make this exact same choice last year and went with the Garden Grill.
My kids loved the revolving restaurant and seeing the scenes from the Land ride while they ate. The character interaction was the best! We had eaten at three other character meals on the trip and at the Garden Grill the characters spend more time with the kids and it was not rushed at all. Make sure to ask for a table on the lower level over looking the land ride.

I thought garden grill was good. They bring ya a big salad, it was SO good. Best salad I ever had! The food was good too, I liked the turkey. And the mashed potatoes were yummy. Plus who doesn't like Mickey, Chip and Dale!

Thanks everyone! I dropped our Coral Reef for Garden Grill. Moved Le Chefs de France to lunch because that's one that my DH has requested, hehe.

It's been a few years since we did GG, but it was definitely one of our favorites. We were surprised that we liked it that much -the catfish was awesome ..hope they still offer it.

We did not care for Beirgarten... the characters at GG are amazing and we are planning on going back!

We loved GG and we will definately go again. Service and food were great. The characters were awesome too We haven't tried the German place but we hope to on our next trip.
