ABout 2 weeks ago, we lost Ziggy, our Stafordshire Bull Terrier to illness. She was my oldest DD's dog and she took the loss hard. Four days later, a friend my DH used to work with called us. She breeds French Bulldogs.

She just had her 1st (human) baby and had 2 puppies left from the last litter. She wanted to know if we were interested in a puppy (she had no idea about our dog passing). All she had to do is email 1 pic & I was hooked.

So, please allow me to show off our new member of our family. I think she looks like Stitch, but our DD's named her Eloise (think little girl that lives at the Plaza).

I told our DD's that Ziggy was looking out for us. I miss Ziggy so much, but I know that she had a hand, I mean paw, in our getting this puppy.

Oh my goodness, she is too cute. Congratulations!

She is just beautiful! I hope she's every bit as smart and cuddly as you want her to be!

She is an adorable puppy! Wow!

Funny, I was just watching a dog show on TV today and one of the finalists was a French Bulldog. I never realized how cute they were until today and now this is the second one I've fallen in love with, LOL.

That middle picture is a classic. I think you should get Eloise an agent. ;)

Wow, post more soon. It looks like she could fly! Heheheee
How big will she get?

If you don't mind a photo tip:
Put a piece of tissue over the flash, it does not blind her and mellows out the light. Maybe even a piece of copier paper depending on the camera.

Oh! That is just too sweet! I love French Bulldogs. If I didn't already have 3 dogs, I would just have to have one!!!!:lovestruc

What a cutie!!

We're sorry about Ziggy. :(

Thank you. DD is getting better, but Little Sis (3) asked me today where she was.:( Dh told her that she was helping Jesus get the paper. Love him!

I said the same thing to DH about an agent! Did I mention she can fit in the palms of your hands? :lovestruc She is one of the smaller puppies. I saw her sister and she was twice as big as her. Every night, Dh or I have woken up in the middle of the night panicing because we thought we squished the puppy.

Thanks for the photo tip. I need all I can get.:goodvibes She's a beautiful brindle, but she looks black in every picture I take. The ears are something, aren't they? Dumbo was mentioned for a name, but I said no way for a cutie like her. I checked the AKC website & they say that 28 lbs. is the max weight. The vet said that she is perfect for the breed. As long as I don't give her too many treats! Who, me?:rolleyes1

Thank you all for the good wishes. I am taking her to the park in the morning, so hopefully I'll can post some more cute pics tonight.

I love French Bullies!

Eloise is a doll! I'll bet she will be one adored pup.

My condolences to you & yrs on the loss of Ziggy. I'll bet you were great parents and brought much love and joy to one another~

We have a Boston Terrier (the poor man's French Bully :rotfl: ) by the name of Zippy

Uh...he's not spoiled either :rolleyes1

Your new baby is so sweet. We have just recently(in Dec) got a Boston Terror..I mean terrier as well. Her name is Lilly after Walt's wife. We had had a Boston before but had to put "Disney" down due to parvo after only having had him for one week. When we decided it was time for another dog we bought Jasmine our goldendoodle who is almost 2. We are going to have to put our 12yr old cocker spaniel Tamika down as she is going senile and health issues(ie cancer).I was hesitant on getting Lilly initially but I think it will make the transition of putting down Tamika easier on our kids and our super seperation anxiety goldendoodle Jasmine. Congrats on your new puppy. Kathy

Oh get ready!! We got our Sophie(frencie) over the summer and she has us all wrapped around her little paw. She has become queen of the house. They are so funny- the snorting the happy grunting. Oh you are going to love her.

I have to say not the brightest of dogs but certainly very lovable.

She is adorable. And she is doing the same looks we get from Sophie. Oh and I was going to get a puppy carrier because she wanted to be held all day long. That has gotten slightly better- she will go down for awhile without crying. Here's our smiling.
YIKES why is that so big? Sorry

Eloise is a cutie. I definitely see Stitch in her. ;)

I Love your French Bulldog. They are the cutest things.

They are the total opposite look of the kind of dogs we have.... Collies!

But you gotta love those ears and pushed in noses.

Very Cute, but we are "owned" by 2 Dachshunds, Mickey and Lady!:thumbsup2
