Want to rent BCV 11/03- Do I have this right?

Long time reader- 1st post.

We would like to rent points and try a one bdr junior suite, deluxe room (whatever new name Disney has now) or two bdr at the BCV in 11/03.

Do I have this right- if we rent from someone with BCV home resort they can make ressies 11 mo. in advance, and if rent from someone with another home resort they can make ressies 7 mo. in advance??

Also- once we have rented and ressie is in our name, confirmed, etc do we then follow up on specific room requests (as per the excellent advice on the boards) ourselves or does this have to come from the DVC member?

Seriously thinking about taking the DVC plunge- maybe after this vacation (and our basement is finished-LOL).

Of course you have the right to rent what ever you and the member can agree on and get reservations for. You already know about the home resort priority so you must decide what's best for you and what you're willing to pay. It may be harder finding BCV renters due to the newness of the resort. Any requests will need to come from the member, just tell them what to request for you.
