OK, I'm a little paranoid, but sending a photocopy of my S.S. card with my application is going against my better judgement. Was this standard practice for all of you?

OK, I see they have a perfect history with the Better Business Bureau. I'll just bite the bullet and send the paperwork in. If I wind up the victim of identity theft, one of you nice people will take me in, right? :rotfl2:

If you have a passport, you can use a copy of that to replace all other identification.

I sent copies of my driver's license and birth certificate. The whole Jurat form is unique to California (or at least that's what the notary told me), it is because they have trouble with hiring people who aren't US citizens who try to use fake documentation so the notaries there are trained in identifying legitimate forms of ID.

I'll take you in if someone steals your identity:hug:

What a day.... I did my second Coppertone as an off-date in a beautiful fairly new Walmart, but....

I didn't receive a kit (used what little I had left from Sat.).

The store doesn't carry Orient Emporium tea - grocery section manager has never heard of it.

They don't stock sunscreen in the Health and Beauty section there, it's with the pool toys.

No one from MC returned my calls (or the email I sent on Sat.), I only got voicemail - first I called about no kit, then I called about no tea. I wondered if I needed to make a 75 cent purchase to "clock-in" (I didn't).

I made myself an honorary Walmart greeter for the day (which felt like a week). Give me something to do, cut, count, pour - anything!

I did manage to get 31 cans of Coppertone sold though (unless someone ditched them lol)

Signed: Patiently Waiting for July 19th

I was just on the MC site there is a audit position for the Dasani event at ST showing up. Who every is doing this read up and practice practice practice.;)

I just popped in to check on new jobs & found the Audit one.. too bad I'll still be in WDW (well not really!)... However since it was just an audit job, I checked to see if there were any available near Kissimmee (couldn't hurt to make a few bucks while I'm spending so much!) but alas, they didn't have any available!

I just booked Toaster Strudel-Hamburger Helper at ST for 9/1 (with TMT). I'm already booked to do this with SPi on 8/9 at Walmart.

I've never seen this happen before, where Target has the same demo as Walmart. Plus it's three weeks later.

It's nice to see September events are starting to show up. :cool1: Now if only a few more would show up for July & August.

Finished phone interview and paperwork yesterday. They said I should hear back in a few weeks. I really hope I get in!!!!!!!! I thought it odd they called me before they had the completed paperwork and head shot. Anyway a few random thoughts:

What do you do about restroom breaks? Do you get them?

Can a black skirt sub for black pants? (I'm more of a skirt gal)

And how easy is this point system thing and how do I know if my school participates? Or is it only colleges?

If you have to go to the restroom by all means go! Just put up your "on break" sign!

Yes, the information you'll get when you are hired will tell you what you can wear and a black skirt is fine.

I don't ever pay attention to the points so I can't help you there...I NEVER remember to take my camera w/ me!:rotfl2:

Once you have a Log-In, you can go to your "My Points/Photos" tab in ebooking and see if your school participates, If your school of choice is not listed, there is an email address to check it out further. I did notice some colleges listed in my area.

You and your school automatically earn 1 point for each successful event you complete. Upload a digital photo of your event and earn 1 point. Refer someone and earn 1 point once they have been HIRED. Earn an additional point for each of their first 5 events. For every 25 points, you will receive a $25 gift card at the end of each quarter.

Good luck.

Thought someone might get a laugh out of this. I asked the greeter-guy to take a picture of me with my cell phone camera. He was about 80. He said he got a good one and closed the phone. When I got home, I looked at it and this is what I got:

They called my step-father too after he completed the online app., but he hadn't faxed in the proof of identity yet. They never called me until after I had sent everything in (by mail, not fax).

He lives in an area that has a lot of un-booked events, so maybe you do too.

Diaper events are showing up for Wal-Mart on 7-21

I'm doing Flat Earth Crisps at Target that day. Guess I'd rather do food for 4 hours vs diapers for 5. Maybe I'll have the chance to get one off-date.

Nice photo LanaJae. :rotfl:

Safe and happy 4th to everyone.
