Doing a lone Synders of Hanover Multi Grain Snack tomorrow that someone unbooked a couple of days ago. No kit, but I have the tableclothe from last time. No biggie really.

Talked to ALOT of people about Coppertone today, but only sold 6. :confused3 GLAD THOSE ARE OVER FOR ME!!!! :goodvibes

I did the BC Skillet Potatoes today at a Walmart I've never worked at before. They remodeled last winter and added the grocery section. Guess what!?! None of the outlets on the food bunkers are live! Not a single one works. I took me 45 minutes and 6 employees to find the ONE spot I could plug in at. After moving the rack of water bottles next to the Culligan water machine, we could see an extension cord coming from behind the water machine. So I had to pull it out and use that. I was waaaay in the back, between groceries and diapers, next to the stock door. Continuous traffic jams between my table being there, people getting water, and employees and reps moving stock in and out. People would avoid the area because of the jams. Between the potatoes and the cereal, I only gave out about 100 sample in 5 hours!
I knew I was in for a bad day when, on the way there, I got behind an old lady driving slow, then when I changed roads, construction equipment going slow. Longest 30 miles I've driven in a long time!

Splash I was not having fun at the end of those Proplan events last yr. I think They were 10 to many. Glad you managed to get through them with a smile :cool1:

Well, I have 6 more coppertones to do counting tomorrow..... 3 are at the same store on different dates.. thought about asking to do a double instead, but thought never mind, would hate for them to take one away from me...
One day I did the skillet potatoes I only gave away about 50 samples of potatoes and sold only 1 box..... but the next time I did them I sold 10 boxes and gave a way tons of samples..... You never know...

Yeah, I think I was the happiest at today's knowing it was the last. :lmao: Last week I did cancel one I had booked for 6/23. I just couldn't stand another. And it would have been the 4th time at this store. And there are more available there. Really, how many times do people need to be asked if they would like to try a product?

I'll be back at some store tomorrow. I'm becoming quite a regular fixture there. :)

Oh, I found a new 75 cent purchase item. They have small snack size bags of Flat Earth Chips at SuperWM for 68 cents. So today, I got to try the Farmland Cheddar since my Target demo only had the yuckier fruit flavors. Cheddar is GOOOOOOOD!!!!!

Yes, the cheddar is very good, When I did the demo a few weeks ago, my kids showed up with my husband and they loved the cheddar and the garlic one, forgot what it was called, they even bought a bag from me... :)
Well if I get an extra $15 for doing the coppertone, I will have my cruise paid for faster.... :) Wish the others would hurry and go off-date...

Hey, gotta tell you something funny. There is an older man who is a merchandiser & he was also a customer of the insurance agency & the bank I worked at. Between bank & insurance, I worked in that town 19 yrs, so alot of people know me. Anyway, I ran into him a year ago when I started doing demo'ing at my "far away" store. He was surprised to see me. Hadn't seen him since I think.

Well, I've seen him at the last 4 demos I've done, including today. :rotfl2: I keep telling him to stop following me around. And he says people are going to start talking about us.

I just think its funny we've ended up at the same stores on the same days in different towns. :rotfl2: Today, I told him I was NOT going to tell him where I would be tomorrow. lol

I'm doing the Garnier Event tomorrow. Can someone give me an approximate cost to inflate the 6 latex and 1 mylar balloons? I'd kinda like to know before I have it done incase it costs more than my budget. Thanks.

It's funny the people you run into. Since I'm usually at one ST I have my regulars that come around for samples. Last time I was doing a Pepsi event and they stopped by and said I thought you liked Coke. I told them for the right price I would even drink Pepsi ;)

Hey, search is showing "NO RESULTS" again. Maybe they are adding events.

I'm not at any one particular store enough to have regular customers, but I do recognize some customers. I do however know the name of the 2 dogs that help the disabled. ;)

It costs you nothing!
If the wal-mart does not have a machine to do it, you don't worry about them.
Most wal-marts don't have a "floral" shop but an employee at one store said they had a helium machine in the back and went and filled them for me. Next store did not so I did not use them.
You should never HAVE to use your own money. If they don't have a helium machine, don't fill them!

Thanks! I wasn't sure with $3.50 on the card and having to buy tissues and check-out if that was enough. I'm sure it'll be OK now. Plus, I didn't know how long it'd take to get this done and if I'd need to leave an extra 5 min. early. Now, I'll just buy my tissues and go see what options I have for the balloons.

"No Results" still here this morning. I'd been watching an event for the 16th to go off-date in hopes to pick it up. Hope they don't put the job back up while I'm at Garnier today and miss it.

The Walmarts down here do not have helium tanks. It is a "balloon"person that comes in every couple of days and brings balloons so at both of my Garnier events I did not have balloons. I would go in about 15 min. early because you may have to wait for someone or it could not be anyone at all to inflate them for you.

Anybody having any luck with the booking site today? Mine still has no events listed - even at 100 miles out.
