Well I'm all set to go. I booked my first two events (both are the best of life diet) in January and am looking forward to them. Thanks again for posting this opportunity.
Which agency were you assigned to - TMT or SPI. I haven't seen any jobs for TMT in the Columbus area for a month. At which locations are your first two jobs?

Chocolove went well. People loved the dark with ginger and dark with raspberries. I had none of the cherries/almonds to demo so did raspberries instead. I gave out close to 300 samples!

I did Ulta today too, I also had to show people around or tell them to look for someone in a black apron..... I have never been in that store and didn't know where anything was, I just had to look around and use common sense... Everyone seemed nice... I sold 5 gift packs and about 5 singles. Not too bad......
I think I was audited... Someone came in with sale paper and asked me about 4 questions, told me she would look around but she really wanted the gift pack, she walked around and picked up a couple of small things and then checked out.... could have been a mystery shopper....... anyone know how to tell?????

In my experience they tell me that they are auditing, and ask to take a picture. There has been no mystery about it for me. I am with TMT if it makes any difference.

Chocolove- yum!
Gave out tons of samples today, busy day at my typical slow ST.

They didn't give me enough money to buy all of the bars they wanted, I would have had only 28¢ to swipe out. The organic ones were $2.50 while the other two were $2, possibly why it came out to be too much $$ with tax.
I took one of the organic ones off and went with one bar short of total.
Got done way too early (never happens at this location, I usually have extras to give to employee lounge), helped the other ladies with more spoons/forks and dump trash. Even with that one extra bar it would only be another 15 minutes.

Sold 11 of the featured and many more of the other flavors. Lots of others said they had too much chocolate at home already but would buy it later.

Chocolove event was interesting. While I did give out alot of samples more people than I thought passed up chocolate :confused3 . I thought it was pretty good chocolate I was surprised that I thought the ginger was good. The LOD at this ST was pretty crabby and can you say disorganized.

I think the trouble I've been having with my MC card is because it became demagnetized. My agency sent me a new one and whalla it works. :teeth:

My Tassimo event boxes just arrived. Guess I'll be checking things out and viewing the video this afternoon. Luckily, I have a new Tassimo not one of those used in a previous demo.

Hoping mine arrives today too... & hopefully a new one - I don't have time to clean it out!

I was assigned to SPI. Both are at Walmarts, one in Columbus and the other in Grove City.

Mine came today, too! How do we know if it's used or new? Maybe it will be obvious once I open the boxes.

I have Kmart on Sat. and there's supposed to be three boxes sent to the store. I hope they arrive (and can be located) in time.

shelwoj - Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling you'd been assigned to SPi as I hadn't seen any jobs in the Col's area for TMT.

cynjam - There was a "new" sticker on my Tassimo box and you could tell everything was in original packaging when you opened the box.

I received my Tassimo boxes today. My machine appears to be new also cleaning disc was still all stapled shut. Glad I didn't have to scrub this out. :teeth:

How is everyone doing? Any new events popping up?

:sad2: No Tassimo for me

I had to unbook it because well I have to damn graduate from Eastern Michigan on sunday. hmmm $71 to make coffee for 4 hours or sit and listen to a blowhole talk about the greatness of graduating and how many doors will be opened. Darnit... I wanna brew coffee!!! :teeth:

Congrats!!

Looks like they have booted DH from working.. his user ID and password no longer work. :confused3
He asked me to cancel his Tassimo event last week, so I unbooked him online. TMT called on Monday and left a message "to talk to you about the Tassimo event". He recvd all the boxes for the event anyway, plus he has a box for his still scheduled Keurig this weekend. Tried to log- in last night and it didn't work.

TMT had tried to call a few times for him last week to come in for training (four day notice). I talked to someone and told them with his schedule that is not possible for either of us.

I know there is one chick there that will retaliate if you unbook an event.
I called in when I was VERY sick-- couldn't hold anything down for two days.
She changed one of my events to booked by agency, which would have docked me ebooking. I wrote a note on my report form and a sticky explaining it was not my choice to be booked by agency.. got my full pay.

Told him he better call TMT. I don't want to deal with it!! :rolleyes1

I had unbooked the Suave/Lipton event for last Saturday due to migraines. Then I rebooked it for tomorrow, Thursday. Well, wouldn't you know I'm on day 2 now of a cold (soar throat, feverish, stuffed nose & aches). Great!!! Needless to say, I'm unbooking again.

Wonder if they'll be getting rid of me too. (SPI) :confused3 I've unbooked maybe 2-3 others I think since April...and a few others that I unbooked / re-booked at same time (basically swap stores & days).

They weren't high profile events though like the Tassimos. Maybe that's why?

I mean its holidays & cold/flu season. You've got to think this is the time of year with highest cancellation rate. There's also soooooooo many unbooked Tassimo events in MA.

HaHaHA!! Congrats on your graduation B!!! :teacher:

My Tassimo boxes are still on the porch, I am just too doggone lazy to bring them in. Besides everytime I do, my kids do nothing but use the t-disc as lego and I have 50 million t-disc all over my house!!

Looks like I will be taking a break after this weekend until the new year!!

I didn't realize it until a little while ago, but Daniel left a message on the answering machine. Really really really wants to know if I can do a Tassimo this Sunday. He'll pay extra $................

Poor guy. I'll bet he made alot of those phone calls today.

Some new events came up here for 12/31 (Korbel) and 2/4 (Kellogs.)

Looks like I will be taking January off no events close to me unless I want to travel, not. I did pick up the Kellogg in Feb though :thumbsup2
