Those with wine events..... Are yours all in the "wealthier" areas? Ours are all in the burbs / metro areas surrounding Boston. Lots of them, just nothing out my way.

IF I decide to work in December, all I've got to pick from are Suave Hair at KMarts. The kits would be sent to the store...and being December, that makes me pretty sure it could get lost.

Oh, and still no reply from anyone at SPI about last nights email. Not even a "I'm looking into it" email. Think I might be resending it nightly until they do. :rotfl:

I just booked some soymilk events for 12/8 and 12/9. Woohoo, soymilk!

Something funny happened at my event yesterday. It was a Walmart grand opening, and a lady had come from Mass Connections in California to work the event and recruit. She was really nice and she took my picture to send to the office. I had never been to a Walmart grand opening, and boy do they put on a party. There was a giant Twinkie walking around and a loaf of Wonder bread and Tony the Tiger. Tons of companies were giving stuff away, and vendors were all over measuring their shelf space. Very cool. I'm glad I went. At the very opening, a mad bunch of people rushed layaway and electronics to buy TMZ Elmo and a laptop for $398. That was fun to watch, too. A nice person who worked there said they knew why I was handing out Cheerios. It was because I was so cheery.

What pay date does this payperiod have? I do not have a check in the queue however my last paycheck pay date changed so I am all confused!!
Week ending 11/3
Pay date 11/8

I am in the process of signing up with Alexandrias Marketing (a sub branch of promoworks in the michigan area) Kinda exciting as MC is being really really really slow right now. I have a few events but they are all 4 hour events.

Hi, Momof2inPA :wave2:

Where in PA are you? I'm in the South Central part of the state, Shippensburg. Are you with SPI or TMT? I haven't seen any Soy Milk events yet. The only thing in December for me is Suave Holiday Hair at the Big K. Oh, boy!!

I'm signing up with Stearns. They also do Promo Works here in PA. The pay is less, but like you, MC is really slow for me right now. I think I'm addicted to demo'ing! :rotfl2:

Great B. PromoWorks here definetely has a lot of jobs. So that should fill in quite nicely while Mass is down. The biggest positive that i can say about Promo is that because she is local, I get my paychecks every 2 weeks like clock work. My kits come when the are suppose too, I can get some one on the phone if I have a question but the pay is just about 20 less than Mass but I make sure that I keep in good graces with them and my coordinator always happy to book me a job on short notice.

anyone have a web site to another demo company for me since MC is sooo slow? Thanks!!

I think you told me but I can't remember, are you in the KC area? I'm near Wichita and nothing has been listed for awhile anywhere around here!
I live between Topeka and Lawrence. Wichita was listed for the coffee, but it's gone now. I got one of the Lawrence coffee demos.
I didn't even look at my paperwork yesterday after the manager signed it. He wrote that he would like me back, that I did very well. Made my day when dh pointed it out to me today! There's a woman (I've never met her) that usually gets the jobs before I do. Now it makes me wonder how well she does!!

Hey Has anyone else noticed that they lowered the points to get your 25dollar gift card? It is now 25 points and 50 points to get the letter of recommendation. I have 18 now so only 3 more jobs then I will get my first gift card :cool1: Hey B. Rivers youshould have enough now too!!! Anyone else?

Cool, it might almost be worth lugging a camera now. Thanks.

Comice pear events are now available for off dates. Only 1 left in MA...and its too far. Plymouth, MA...the store with multiple events no one seems to book for some reason.

Think I need to look into buying a super sonic jet or something so I can travel to stores far away really quickly. :teeth: How many events to work that purchase off, I wonder? :rotfl:

Did you notice there is a referral program as well?
It lists their email addy to ask for more referral cards.

I think we should be spotted 10 points each just from all the people who have signed on to MC based on posts here :thumbsup2

Rock Chalk Jayhawk, go KU! I lived in Lawrence for 5 years and went to KU!!

I just saw work in Lawrence and Wichita. They have quite a few openings at the Target near Shawnee Mission Parkway and Lackman, pretty close to K10. I suppose that might be too far. I work in Overland Park and Lenexa some though I live on the other side of the metro.

FYI for everyone, because my town was not taken yet (and it always is before I can get to it) I think there is a new Traget Demo out there- Salmon. Be off with you and check the site!

I was just going to mention the salmon demo - there doesn't seem to be any slowdown here, I have 6 events for November (and I could have done more if I had wanted, and that is just at my ST). There are other events in Orlando and such at Wal Marts and other STs too.

I'm by Pittsburgh. I signed up with Stearns and was supposed to do my first event on 12/19, but it was cancelled.

My dd goes to KU, she loves it there.
I'm a Nebraska fan, so sometimes it's difficult living here with all these wildcats and jayhawks!!!!
Lawrence is the farthest I'll drive for a job so no KC area jobs for me!
I ended up grabbing both the coffee jobs in Lawrence. I really enjoy working that store, everyone there is so nice!
