I did the Ritz Entertaining Crackers today, with the Kraft cheese that separates. It was VERY popular, I did about double the samples I normally do (almost 300!)

The bad thing with the crackers - they were small containers with 45 or so each, and we only were getting 4 of them to buy. On the other hand, we could buy up to 16 of the cheeses, with 18 in them each. That wasn't too even! We Q-Mosed a couple of more boxes of crackers.

I sold out of all the crackers, and nearly all the cheese. I may have otherwise sold out of the cheese, but it was on the top shelf and hard to see.

Back from tassimo event. I have to say these are my favorite demo's. I could not set up in Food Avenue because there were not any outlets. I had to set up near the kitty litter infront of the grocery section. No major issues because I could not handle it today. Oh if you were asked by any innocent bystander "How much water does the machine hold" you were audited :lmao: . I even manage to sell one, it was from a lady who had been looking at them since last september event. I ran out of hot chocolate, I guess they figured out this time we did not need all those T-disc.

I am tired and ready for a long week of no demo's, got to get ready for Turkey day!!

I decided I dislike regular Target for events.. it takes twice as long to set up and no one has a clue that a demo was scheduled.

How many employees does it take to plug in a Tassimo?
FIVE! :lmao:

Took a lot of time trying to find a plug in, none in Food Avenue (which is at the exit of the store). Tried to plug in where they charge wheelchairs near front of store, didn't work. Ran around looking for more plug ins (grabbed a little Christmas tree form dollar section to test outlets) and none of them worked.
One very perceptive employee came by, knew immediately that there are plug ins located in the base of the cashier stand. She plugged the extension cord in and I was in business!

I was set up right around the corner from Dollar Spot, near checkouts. Lots of traffic for people entering and exiting store.
Hot Chocolate was the winner of the day, asked kids in line with parents at cash register. Mom watched while in line, child watched close to table and then went back to mom "can we buy that?"...... hehehehe, gotta hook those customers at a young age! :thumbsup2

My machine didn't work vewry well. It left half the milk in the TDisc, dribbled and spurted when in use. It worked ok but not nicely.
I showed people the manual option and pushed more milk thru Tdisc.

Do you think these machines will survive another set of demos?

After 5 pm, had a small crowd all wanting hot chocolate, got to last guy in line..... the machine DIED! All lights blinking, opened and shut mechanism, turned machine on and off... still blinking. I gave a little speech about being here since one and not typical household use. Embarrassing.

Funny Garcia,

My machine did the same thing right toward the end. I think i am going to send a message to SPI asking for more Hot chocolate disc. I had one customer so upset because he stood in line waiting for hotchocolate and once it was his turn and I looked in the box, I was out. He stormed away. I had to make a clean break at 5:10 because people just kept coming and coming. It is so true about kids really helping the sale. I had a single mom and her daughter buy my machine. The daughter just kept going on and on about the hotchocolate, the mom really liked the cappacino but the daughter would not let up. But I have to admit is was my oldest daughter that got my hubby to buy ours. Every morning my 6.5 yrold makes hot chocolate for her sister and brother before they go to school. Yes, I just really have to say this is my favorite demo.

I just hope I do not get in trouble for not setting up in the Food Avenue. The manager was not helpful, she was just like no plugs up here go back into the grocery section.

I have the Keurig demo, that thing looks scary. I am a true Tassimo fan and anything else is just an imitation :rotfl2:

I'm glad I cancelled mine. I really dislike trying to demo & sell expensive items that don't work as advertised. :sad2: That's sucks that so many machines are faulty. Imagine the people who buy them & have same troubles at home. :guilty:

I see a Hills Brothers Cappuccino event up for 12.3 here. I wonder if it is another machine one? I may just grab it. The Super Target it is at is 7 minutes up the road.

There are a ton of events here for the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd and earlier. There was one for a wine called Menage a Trois. I'm not quite sure I could do that one with a straight face (I have something booked already, though!) That is at the Super Target.

Nothing new for me, which is fine - I don't want to be tempted into overbooking myself through the holidays.

I am a bit miffed though.. I was shorted the ebooking fee for my last 4 Proplan events.. I contacted my coordinator & she responded that she'd put it into payroll. I just got an email from a (new) payroll person saying that since my coordinator booked me I wasn't getting the $32 shortage... excuse me but when it was suggested by my coordinator that she book me for the whole string of Proplan events (to save them $ on having to send a full kit to a new person each time), I made sure that that despite her booking me I'd still get full pay - she confirmed it and I did for the first 6 events... Of course I went through all me saved emails & it the one that I didn't keep!!!!

woooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooooo :dance3:

I'm enjoying cappuchino before I pack up the Tassimo, :drinking1 buzzed buzz buzzed.. caffeine is whirling thru me, gotta make some for DH when he gets home so we can buzz away together :hyper2:

Don't have any chocolate for a mocha so I did a Cafe Miel (honey and cinnamon) with a spash of Torani vanilla. Tastes just as good as the ones I bought all the time when I was young, skinny, just married and had money because we had no kids :rotfl:

Haven't recvd a call from UPS warning me that they are coming to pick up my machine, anyone else get a call yet?
Last time they called the very next day.

No call from Ups maybe that's why the little fella is still on my porch. I had the lady ask me about how much water it holds. I didn't think that was a key selling point. :confused3. I actually sold the one the only Tassimo in the store yesterday  They even had the new flavors of Tazo tea and the Seatle's best coffee's. This time I was a little smarter I didn't buy all the water or the second creamer.

Oh by the way when all the lights are blinking it wants more water. That happened to me yesterday. I had a constant stream of people wanting the cappuccino. I think that was the key selling point. lot's of people said that was on their xmas list.

It had plenty of water, I even added more water just to be sure.
After I got it home, (cold here in MN, plenty of time for it to cool off) filled it up again, no problem.
I really think the machine was overheating from the constant use.
It was constantly dribbling out extra water in the bottom cup holder when not in use and it drips after done brewing a cup.

I don't want to buy it now, wanted to the first time but now I see it can't hold up to lots of use.

It probably needs to be descaled. Just like a regular coffee maker. I love mine I bought mine at the beginning of October my birthday present to my self. No problems with mine I use it every day.

I've had mine for a year, daily use, no problems....

I've had mine for about 2 months now. I use it every day, 3 people making several cups a day and I've had no problems. I love it and don't know what I'd do without it, now. Not trying to sell you on getting one, of course ;) . Just telling you my experience.

Susan

ok so normal household use should be just fine.
Maybe this one got beat up in transit.. whoever had it last round sent it UPS in its original box. No extra padding.

If the price was right I would buy one.. new of course! However, the Keurig looks interesting .. just because it has lots of different coffee and tea.
Looking forward to demo that one at ST.

Well no call from UPS either. so the machine is still sitting on my counter using up the rest of the coffee and tea and cappicinno's

Perhaps the Holiday rush is slowing down UPS. What happens if UPS does a no call/no show? I mean if they don't call today for a tomorrow pickup it won't be until friday.

I do not want to be stuck footing the bill to send this machine back!

I am going out of town in a couple of hours, How do I make sure the Tassimo gets picked up.. Do I need to call someone or will they call me/??/?

I just got an email from Robin, She told me just to hold on to mine till my next event.... if I don't hear from UPs Before I leave....... It's all boxed up right now.. too bad,

wendy
