So many events. So little time. :rotfl:

What do you think of this? :rotfl: The WM I'm at is close to the Target. I could set up at WM at 11:00 and stay put until 1:00. Then go set up at Target. Every 15 mins. I could run between stores. Since the WM event is with SPi and the Target is with TMT, this might work.

LOL. Maybe that's what those other MC people are doing when they disappear for 1/2 hr at a time. :rotfl: I think you are on to them. :lmao:

Congratulations! :cool1: I'm hoping to make it to 25 by the end of June with SPi. I do think the points are cumulative. From the website "For every 25 points, you will receive a $25 gift card. Gift cards to be awarded at the end of each quarter." It doesn't indicate the points need to all be earned in the same quarter. It's just mailed out the end of the quarter in which you earn the 25th point.

I'd already have enough, but half of my points are with TMT and the other half with SPi.

I could have sworn the points used to go back to ZERO each quarter. So, they changed it? If so, cool!

I've been bringing my camera, but I was too busy on Diet Coke Plus & just plain old too lazy yesterday to try to find someone to take a photo.

BRivers, I think SOME of your photos you've taken yourself - at armslength? Do you submit those & get points for them? I'll have to remember to try to find a shelf & use the timer if I don't want to bother anyone. Sometimes, they just can't seem to take a photo. :confused3

I haven't checked the mail for yesterday or today.... Hopefully I will be getting my four(4) in the mail. I did 50 events last quarter AND had pictures posted for each.

 :worship: No wonder you haven't been posting. You are too busy working! I didn't even see that many events listed. Holy cow!

Are you still doing another demo co too?

Has anyone ever done a Yoplait Whip yogurt event before? I'm doing it tomorrow. I have to buy 60 yogurts (20 each of 3 flavors). I'm wondering if I'll actually use that much. It will give me 240 samples. I don't usually go thru all the sample product they tell me to buy - and I've been buying less if I think I won't use it all. So is this a popular sample item or not?

I already know I'm NOT buying 4 Light Vanilla Soymilk (64oz). :lmao: One will be enough. If it was chocolate, 2 would do it. I might buy 1 vanilla & 1 chocolate (alternate product) because I can usually get people to try chocolate first, then convince them to try vanilla. :rotfl:

A little bit of water sounds helpful for wiping up.

I'm also prepping for Sunday's Hungry Jack potatoes so I won't have to tomorrow night after working all day.

This recipe looks like a pain in the butt. :rolleyes1 That's more cooking than I even do at home. ;)

Here's my extras list so far:
duct tape
scissors for opening those potato bags that I always spill every where
tableclothe
2 one cup measuring cups (one for wet & one for dry ingredients)
2 one teaspoon measuring spoons (one for salt & one for serving "heaping" portion)

I'm tossing around the idea of a couple of feet of paper towels & a trash bag. It says to throw out potato batch & make a new one every hour. Well, need to throw it some where & need to wipe out that baking dish thing pretty good for the next batch.

I'm wondering if some foil or something will help keep the dish of potatoes warmer for that long. :confused3 There is always REHEAT on the microwave. :rotfl: ;) Nothing like COLD potatoes. YUCK!

Am I missing anything else here? Let me know when you read it thru.

FYI: My collection of cutting boards, knives, hot pads, measuring spoons, serving spoons, duct tape, foil, tables & cups, spoons, napkins & other misc stuff compliments of MC is getting WAY out of hand. They sure don't know how to conserve.

Heads up... two different events coming up at SWM for 6/16... a L & G Golf Game (not a clue what that is) & Powerade/Cheerios/Nature Valley....

BTW I got my WM GC today too!!

I'm not doing the Yoplait Whips until 5/21, yes a Monday :) , but this was my experience with the Trix yogurt last week. Was suppose to buy 10 6pks, but only bought 9. Had trouble using 4. The last hour, I was giving huge samples.

As for the potatoes, I'm basically taking what you've mentioned. However, I'm not taking paper towels or foil. The meat dept. has plenty of paper towels hanging up if I need them and my microwave bowl has a lid. Honestly, I can't imagine those potatoes will be too good after a half hour. I'm thinking they'll dry out pretty quickly.

brivers - 50 events in a quarter - Wow, that's an average of 4 a week. Congratulations. No way there would be that many jobs around here.

Really weird. They are only listed at 1 store here within 60 miles of my house. I took the Powerade/Cheerios event for the 40 mile store I routinely go to. Thanks.

Kpauley, thanks for the yogurt info.

Somebody went & booked the Hershey's Anti-Oxident (as on-date) that I was watching to go on off-date. Booooo!

Thanks for the heads up. Right now, these are only at stores out of my driving range. Since there are no instructions up yet, I guess I'd select food/drink event if it opens up closer to me.

Thanks for the heads up I booked an L&g Golf Game by me:thumbsup2 So now I have 15 future events  This is keeping me busy, hopefully some of the money can find its way into the Disney fund (this hasn't happened yet);) Thanks for the list Splashmtn I am doing potatoes tomorrow and Sunday:eek: Hopefully it is better than my Neutrogena weekend. At least I will have something to do to keep busy:)

Oh, please let us know how the potatoes work out tomorrow so I know what to expect on Sunday. :thumbsup2

I did the Hungry Jack event today. Slow day as it was raining buckets off and on. I did reheat mine, but they dry out quickly, so can't do that too much. Keeping them in the warm microwave with the lid on helped keep them warm, but didn't work for the full hour.
You won't need scissors because the potatoes are in the box, no bags, so just have to get the box open. They are glued well, so I struggled with them and ended up ripping some. The only thing I used my scissors for was opening the forks!
I took 2 one cup measuring cups, and was glad I did. Putting potatoe flakes in after the liquid would have been messy.
I took one of the serving spoons they sent us and a serving spoon from my flatware set. The big plastic spoon was just too cumbersome to use. I switched to my own serving spoon and also used it to spoon out the samples. Worked just fine and fewer spoons on the table to get in my way!

I've started taking a dishcloth in a ziplock bag for cleanup. I squirt some water in the bag and the cloth is ready when I need it. I wipe away the messiest stuff with napkins, then do the final cleaning with the dishcloth. This works well with the knife, so you don't end up with little pieces of napkin stuck to the teeth of the blade.
The store had 14 boxes of the cheddar and bacon, and I sold all but one. Most everyone liked them, but some didn't like the salt content.
Hardest part was juggling everything on the table!
Good luck to everyone with their events this weekend. I've got company, so I'm staying home and enjoying the visit!

Thanks!! You had the same thoughts as me then on 2 measuring cups (wet & dry). I was thinking same thing about their serving spoons being large for the little cups. And I like your wet dishclothe idea. :thumbsup2

The disapproving salt content. Was it the TASTE or the amount listed on the ingredients panel? DH & I thought it odd that we needed to add MORE salt to a recipe with packaged potatoes & salted butter. We don't cook with salt unless absolutely necessary. It can always be added at the table - or other seasonings to improve taste.

Yah! Finally I'm seeing things pop up for June. They are still to far for me Everything so far is along the borders.

Good luck today for everyone doing events.

I have Tostitos dip and chips tomorrow. That should go over well, as long as people come into the store. It's supposed to be in the low 80's

So whos doing what today?? I have the yoplait whips and 8th continent soymilk at WM. We'll see how that goes!!...lol
