Want to do dining plan but...

I'm looking at the possibility of a trip to Disney World, staying on property and I have an annual pass. Am I right in assuming that I cannot get Dining Plan unless I go full vacation package with purchase of room *and* tickets (even though I already have a pass)???

No, you can add dining to just a room package if you are a passholder.

book your ticket-less room package through the passholder's website (or call & and ask for annual passholder room with dining package) If you're going on somewhat short-notice, watch the passholder offers, too...you can get some really decent room discounts (we have had as much as 40% off deluxe resort on passholder discount...and booked dining with it.)

You can't get free dining with annual pass, though...to get free dining you would have to buy a minimum 2-day ticket for everyone in your party...which you could hold onto those tickets for future use.

You can get a dining package, if you want go through all that.

You can also get a TIW card, which makes a lot more sense for many AP holders.
