Well I have been undecided about the hotel I booked offsite for a few weeks so I have emailed CO today to see what there amendment fee will be. The hotel is £60 more and is the doubletree hilton at seaworld compared to the best western international gateway.
If CO want some ridiculous amount I will just leave it as is and book it through someone else as had quotes between £178 and £201 for the 4nights.
The other hotel is £147 so will have to pay the difference of £53 with CO plus there bloomin amendment fee which I hope is not per person:confused3
Anyway we will see.

I would only stay at the Doubletree if you're in a tower room. The "motel"-style rooms aren't great. I'd stay at the BW+ over those.

I don't know anything about the BW but have stayed at the doubletree hilton at seaworld (was Sheraton World Resort when we stayed in 2002)
We got one of the motel style rooms, not great, no idea if they have had a refurb since 2002 but they were below average and in need of it.
Its one hotel Karen won't go back to, we were pestered with lizards by the pool, I know you get them anywhere but loads of them here. But things change over 10 years, could be totally different now under new owners.
If you have a car check the fees, I heard they had started charging & a resort fee.

It has been refurbished wayne we are not havg a car and kath I have booked a tower room.it looks really nice now its been done. Just didnt like the look of the other hotel and seeing coackroaches in rooms put me off. Mind you I always make the best of things and dont tend to complain. As we are going to seaworld twice the 10%off shops and eatingnhelps a little as well. :thumbsup2
