We just returned today. I'm having a little seperation anxiety!!! I can not seem to find my dining room server anywhere!!!

We did the Captain Nautica on the St. Thomas day. It was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. DH, ds-13 and I all gave it 2 thumbs up.

First, pick the morning run. You will be generally the first ones where you go to snorkel.

It is a speedboat that can take up to 25 passengers. The ride it self was great fun. Very fast and very bumpy, but in a fun way! Hold on tight!!

We went to Buck Island-Turtle cove first. No one was there yet. We saw sea turtles (one was a baby!) We were in the water for about 1 hr. Great fish as well!!

We then got on the boat for snacks (fruit and beverages) for a short trip.

Our second part of the trip was to Shipwreck Cove. This was pretty busy and everyone went in and out pretty quick cause we were pretty tired already.

We then sped over to a privately owned island (St. James-the smaller one). Again, we were the only ones here!! This is over in the St. John area. The corals and the fish were incredible!!!!! Barracudas, stingrays so many kinds of fish!!!

After about an hour of snorkeling, we got back on board for shrimp!!! and a fun trip back!!

2 1/2 hours of snorkeling!!!!!!!

This is not for everyone, but we did have some little kids on board ages 6-8 who loved it!!! They have floaties and noodles for the less experienced or if you want to relax.

$65 per person. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

Did you book this through Disney or Captain Nautica direct. We have been to St. Thomas many times on cruises and are looking for something different to do.

Sounds like a great excursion for a very reasonable price.

Christine,

We booked through DCL. They do have a website. I believe it is just www.captainnautica.com if you want to take a look.

There should be pictures on my cruise report. June 12 Eastern Disembarkment and Pictures too.

Bobsuzla,

I have posted on the trip report boards. It is on the last section entitled June 12 Eastern Disembarkment and Pictures too!

If I were more computer literate, I would post a link for it. Dh posted the pictures for me!
