Just looked up the price of 4 tickets from Toronto to Orlando on Westjet(Aug 25 - Sept 3)

Get ready............ $3056.96

I think Westjet is on crack.

I just looked it up from St. Johns Newfoundland. Back in early May we travelled for a high enough price of $2000 for 4 people. Now its at $4041. Unbelievable......

That is why we cancelled our free dining trip. The cost of flights more than double our package from Calgary and the free dining all of a sudden is not so free anymore.

I am going to WDW July 17th and one way on westjet is $415.80 with tax....

Just a thought, but flying out of Calgary you should have access to the US carriers - that's what we do from Edmonton and find the US carrier prices are far cheaper than Westjet or Air Canada. For our trip in May we were able to get a flight for $245 CDN return per person on NWA.

That is a really great price. Were you able to fly direct? We do have access to lots of US carriers but just could not find a deal for when we were going. We plan to go back in March.

We had one short stopover in Minneapolis which is OK with us as it gave us a chance to stretch our legs.
