Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Good evening Warriors! 2 miles 30 minutes for me.

Carrie, my DH doesn't race, he just hangs around a long time waiting for me. After 39 years he sure is a keeper.

I cut my run short due to rain last night. 2.75 miles in 31 min. :guilty:
 
3.4 miles yesterday, 45 minutes!!

first official training run for the 1/2. I had hoped to cover between 3.6-3.7 total, but this was my first real running effort in 2 weeks, so this isn't too bad. I expect to be able to PR my race for the cure 5K this weekend.

Today i did a bike pyramid/ladder ride of 23.7 miles in 1:22, followed by a pyramid run of 4.5 miles in 56:30


Total of 28.2 in 2:18:30

GOt my 4 miler in tonight after work - it was pouring buckets yesterday!!

55 MIN 43 SEC. add on 5 min stretching.

Tracy Keep forgetting to say :woohoo: on your 5K this past weekend! I don't know how you walkers go that fast :worship: :worship: I struggle to keep up a 15 minute pace on my walk breaks when I do my intervals.

Great miles and minutes everyone! WOO HOO!

Amy--great job starting to train for the half! Here we come!

Today was a cross-train day for me. I had planned a 19 mile bike ride, but it started to rain, so I had to cut the last 5 mile loop out, but I managed a solid 14 mile ride in 50 minutes. Added a bunch of strength for another half hour.

Totals today:

14 miles
1:20 time

I did 45 min on the TM last night. 3.8 miles. My pace on teh TM always stinks.

Carrie: Can you believe me when I tell you that when I am on a treadmill, my pace really stinks also!!
 
I also have that problem on the TM. I tend to push myself a bit more outside for some reason. On the TM, I just do what feels super comfortable instead of pushing myself a bit.
 
Yay!!! TM Misery loves company Amy and Tracy. lol Amy. I consider it pushing myself just to not get off of the treadmill.
 
Another training run on the books..3.7 miles about 50 minutes with warm up and cool down.

It was kind of stonkerish, in regards to how I felt while doing it. Felt like I was going to be :sick: about a third of the way through. Probably due to lunch still sitting too heavy in my stomach and hydration issues. would have been happier getting to 4 miles in that time, but all things considered this is ok.

Carrie I am totally :lmao: on your TM comment! Believe me, I feel that way too.

I did about 950 yards of swimming interval training in 30 minutes followed by an 8.9 mile run in 90 minutes.

I ran using a "run 5 (or 6 or 7 or 8)/walk 1" pattern. I'm trying to start developing a Goofy plan of action. Hopefully within the next few days I'll be able to do some back to back LR's and see what happens.............
