Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Evening Warriors. Correction to my above post - DD and I did 1.3 miles last night. We did the same route today, and Jeff came along, so we had garmie. So Jeff, me and DD 1.3 miles in 38 minutes + 5 min stretching. Ok, so at just about 6yo - and stopping to feed the ducks - and trying to sneak up on the deer - and the "my legs are tired" not such a bad time :rotfl2:

Have a great evening!

2 mile Walk Strong in 30 minutes

Weekly totals are: 14.55 miles and 225.14 minutes

Enjoy your weekend Warriors!!!!

3 mile run 28 minutes friday
6.30 mile run 1 hour Today :)
Have a good weeked everyone.:thumbsup2

Well, I had good intentions of riding my bike for XT, got a little ways form my house and the front tire start rubbing funny on the brake pads and then when I look down I saw the tire separating from the rim. I stopped and then "BOOM" the tire blew up!!. I then walked my bike home.
So that was .68 miles of bike/walk time was 8min37sec. I then went in the pool for 25min.

Have a good day!!

Hi team!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Walked 3.3 miles in 54 minutes, did about 10 minutes of stretching.

Have a great day!!

OK Warriors, I got up this morning and thought about the team and did...

12MILES!! (no really, it is for my DL 1/2 training - :rotfl: )

Time was 3 hours 2 min for a pace of 15:14. Not too bad for it being 82degrees when I left at 6:15am and the humidity was 87%.

Have a good Sunday everyone!!

Didn't get chance to post yesterday- but did 3.2 miles in 28 mins plus 10min stretch. Waited until 6.30pm for the heat to go down... this is so unusual for the UK :upsidedow

So so impressed by the massive warrior effort!

3 sweaty humid miles today pushing DD in the stroller. about 52 minutes. I hadn't done anything since Thursday. I feel for anyone doing long training runs in this heat and humidity!:goodvibes :goodvibes

My time/miles last week left alot to be desired, but DD came down with a rather severe UTI/kidney infection that ended up with me taking her to the Dr. 3 times for bloodwork and for a kidney ultrasound! :scared1: :scared1: Luckily the antibiotics have made quick work of the infection and she is almost back to her usual self. We had NO idea something was wrong until she woke up Wednesday with a 104 degree fever!:scared1: :scared1:

Well, our Warriors are still at it, good job! Today I did 5 miles in 77:11 minutes. Slow and steady I go!!!!

Carrie and/or Heather....
Keeping an eye on the thread where people ask to be put on teams. Are we ok with our numbers?? Seems like alot of other teams are getting members. Are all of our members active... don't seem to see alot of them posting??

Haven't seen these warriors in awhile?? TXBELLE, AKASleepingBeauty, Fan of Small World, Mouse Skywalker, PantherGirl and where is TigerLily's miles??

Just curious......:confused3

hi all!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Did some errands and "running" around, but no miles to report.

Tracy - awesome job on the 12 miler, can't wait to hear about the 1/2!

kate - way to go getting your mileage in, even with weather coniditions.

amykab - awesome getting in your mileage, while pushing the stroller. Glad to hear that DD is feeling better! Scary for sure with no signs, and then poof - such a severe infection! Again glad everyone is doing better.

Sorry to everyone else I missed - keep up the GREAT work, and have a fantastic day!

I am so sorry for disappearing again. ROad trips frogetting my plug/charger, late nights, out of town fro work, no internet at work. 2 nights of unpacking only to repack. :sad2: Things shoudl eb looking up, though.

I did 45 min ride/run last week and a tri of 27.5 miles, time of 2:55.

Just asked Dave, an my apologies because I know I missed a bunch, but Tros coulnt double mileage too.

Michelle and Jim adn anyone who has done a tri sonce joining, pleaselet me know the date and mileage so I can double it. SO sorry that I did not think of that earlier. :headache:

I will try to be caught up by the end of teh week. Thansk so much fr your patience! I do miss being here regularly.:grouphug:

Hi Captain Carrie...

I saw your Race Report, very good job at the Tri, even if it didn't all go your way. I said good job for trying to figure out where the course went and I also would've been very frustrated at that point. You hung in there and that shows something great about you.:)

Glad to have you back.

30.1 mile bike ride in 1:52. Lousy pace. The adjustments I made on my bike a couple of days ago had the opposite of it's intended effect. My hamstrings hurt like you-know-what. Back to the tool bench it seems.

I WAS going to run, but it is now POURING outside. Maybe later.

t - 29.69 run / t + 7.9 bike.

Unfortunately, events have conspired against me, & between work & a class the rest of the week, this may be my last workout for the month. I'm not going to make my run goal & that is disappointing, but maybe next month.

Hi guys it's me the pesky panda again, but hey I took a bath. I have an idea that from the way Tracy is talking you have lost a few players. But that's ok because this is a game and life always over rides games. So I'm going to send y'all a new member and then later in the week when Carrie or Heather can catch up and update me I'll update the master roster.

Visiting Panda:hippie:

Ok you scurvy puppies, welcome your new team mate Megan, MTW. Please try not to teach her any bad habits.

I don't wanna hear about you guys violating the dress code again when you are posting.

Visiting Panda:hippie:

7.75 miles last night in 1:51. It was a rough night, but at least I finally got in my LR!

Captain Triathlete Carrie, (doesn't that sound wonderful???)
I did the Danskin Tri at DL on 6/15 which the total mileage was 12.8. I then did the Tri for Fun on 7/12 which the total mileage was 19.5. Thanks!

Yes I agree with Michelle, Carrie is now....

Captain Triathlete Carrie. :worship:

Rest day for me, which is probably a good thing. After the 12miles yesterday my left hip is bothering me (I guess sore) and my right big toe is sore.

Hey Megan, can't wait to meet ya.:yay:
