Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Howdy cousins!

I'm happy to report that we have a revision to the miles for Lily:

Adding another 5 miles and 2:10......gives you a total of 20.99 miles and 8:04 from Team Ohana. We are honored to do this for her.

Hey warriers.

Just back from gym after work. Did another 7mile run (with 0.3 warm up and cool down= 7.3miles) in 1hr 20mins. I've also just found some gatorade in my gym so that's next on my list to try for running. Used to love that stuff when we were on holiday.

Jim- sorry ur legs don't feel good but even so that's a great time and distance considering heat and recent marathon!!!!

Ken- sorry you've been hit by the flu- hope you're feeling better

Hope you've all had a great weekend

Erika, I don't know where you are in Maine but have you heard about the Maine Coast 1/2 in York? It's all women and one lucky man. I think the date is September 21 this year. I hope to do Portland this year.

Thanks for the info. I am in Kennebunkport, so this is only 20-25 minutes away. This sounds like a great goal for me. And I love the fact that it is a women's race!

I didn't think I'd get anything in this week-end due to family plans, but I was able to squeeze in a quick run on Sunday--3 miles in 32 minutes. The time is a new PR for me...I was really stressed b/c I had a ton of family on their way over to my house for a party, and I knew that my run would end just as everyone was getting to my house...so I had a fire lit under me! :rotfl2:

Greetings from Team Ohana!

Seeing that our fearless leader, Lily, has been under the weather and unable to train on her own behalf, several members of Team Ohana have generously donated a portion of their hours/miles to her. Most of us just donated whatever we did on Monday, but a few that did not workout that day chose another session. Also, there are still a few people who have not yet reported their miles, so the total may increase. Please know that these miles/hours are a true gift and have not been included in our team's total. We gladly offer them to be placed in Lily's account:

15.99 miles, 5hours,54 min (5:54)

Sending best wishes for her speedy recovery from your Team Ohana cousins. :grouphug:

OMG. You guys really live up to your name! :grouphug:

Hope teh warriors can forgive me. Got home mafter bedtime from weekend travels. WIll make sure I get caught up tonight.

Hi guys! I'll try to catch up on everyone later, but wanted to post I did NOTHING on Friday or Saturday...ugh. But on Sunday, I ran 3.6 miles. yay!

My total or Sunday was 4.4 with the walking and running as well as 1 hr 15 min w/ the stretching and all.

Didn't make it to my weekend race (didn't sign up either, so no $ lost, but still...) :guilty: It's a 60 mile drive, it was raining the night before, and the family pitched a fit- so there you have it. Of course, the rain stopped about 2 hours before the race and it was beautiful outside. It's ok though, I was tired anyway.

Did manage 3 miles in about 35 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. Didn't want to go out the door on Sunday, but saw what Team Ohana was doing for Lily, and I wanted to do something too!:cheer2:

65 minutes total today...ran 3 miles in 35 minutes, then 30 minutes of weight training.

Happy Monday everyone!

Heal quickly, Lily! Wonderful gesture, Ohana! :goodvibes

WTG Stacie on registering for the 1/2! :cheer2: You can do it! There is going to be a large group of WISHers doing the 1/2, and we will all be there to support each other.

I was a slug last week and did nothing after Tuesday. :guilty: Today I was back at the gym and did 2.84 miles in 50 minutes. Tomorrow is XT.

Thanks again to Team Ohana! :flower3:

Hi everyone, last week was still pretty bad. I can't seem to shake it. Every time I try to do anything, I get a really nasty coughing fit. However you can put me in for 2 hours for last week. Getting better each day.

Hi Team: Guess what? I ran yesterday! :cool1: I decided to give my hip a try so I ran for a mile on the TM (in ~9:30), and then I did another 20 min on the exercise bike.

Hey guys!!!

How is everyone today???

Just wanted to report in that I did 40 min last night--9 miles on the Stationary bike.

Have a great day!

Team Ohana rocks for sure! I am so amazed over the WISH Team spirit that flows everywhere. I did post a special thanks on Team Ohana's thread and the weekly thread to thank everyone for their generous donations.

I am having up and down days as expected. Yesterday was a down, so I want today to be up. I see doc for staple removal tomorrow yay!

I've been trying to maintain at least the house-walking that doc said I could do and have added small amounts of exercising that I think will not call in straining to the abs. Sunday was total of 40 minutes, Monday was total of 30 minutes and today still has to be done. I will report back with that.

It is amazing that I am cut down to these small steps and low amounts, but you know I am doing at least something and I continue onward because of WISH.
