Hey kids!
Hope everyone had a good Easter weekend.
Here's my numbers:
Friday, walk 2 miles in 32 minutes.
Saturday, W/R 5 miles in about 70 minutes. I did this with my mom who is training for the Half. It was hysterical- first I had to outfit her because she didn't have anything remotely comfortable for running. Then I had to stagger our running portions so she didn't over do it her first day running. She cracked me up- you know how you can be euphoric and whiny at the same time?! Oh yeah- "why are we stopping now? I can keep going" followed immediately by "my foot hurts, I'll be swept for sure." It was cracking me up- how many times have we experienced the mood swings?!
Then we ended our outing at a coffee shop where we had coffee and biscottis, but you know, baby steps...
Sunday, walked 8.5 miles in probably 2.5 hours. I walked 3 with DH and Emma and Harry. Harry finally fell asleep at the end of the 3. I dropped DH and Emma off with his relatives who were visiting. I didn't want to risk an awake, cranky baby so I kept pushing him. After another 5.5 miles he finally woke up, which was good since I was getting a little tired! But, I was pleased because I wanted to be able to add a bit more to the team total!
Way too much information, sorry!
Kate- your race sounds great! Good job!
Carrie- glad you're well!
Tracy- happy belated birthday!

Will this ever end? I guess my 10k race is out this weekend. Sorry guys. I wish I was doing my share more. Give me one more week and I should be full go. Way to go to all Warriors you are all doing great.
Sorry about teh delay. Don't worry about us, you are usually a MAJOR ocntributor adn now you need to take care of yourself. That is priority 1!
Thanks for the skirt info, not sure I am ready for the skirt thing. My legs and knees are not all that great looking and I would probably want the one with the compression shorts due to legs rubbing.
