Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

3 miles WAP workout and 45 minutes.

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to address everyone and give encouragement. I need to find the time to do it as well because I know how much I appreciate it. This team rocks!!!!!!

Barb, WATP 3 miler-good for you! Keep at it.

Before I run, if it is a short one, I'll have a banana. If it is a LR, I always take oatmeal. That tides me over for a longer time.

Stacie, another oldie doing the events 71 yo and still steppin. Gives me encouragement.

I agree with Carrie about packing things for the running events as carry on. It does make you a smart runner I'd have to say.

Carrie, thanks for updating my totals.

Quick drop in, ran outside for the first time in a long time on Saturday -was a short one, but felt great to be out there.... 1 mile, 15 minutes. Sunday and Monday - well St. Patrick's got in the way :upsidedow Yesterday, walked 3 miles in 45 minutes with co-worker.

Barb - I totally understand not having time to address evryone! Gkad you get the time to keep us updated on you!

I did my 75 min of yoga last night. SHe took it easy on us adn that was good. Going ot try to run tonight. Kind of scared now. Silly, I know.
 

1:20 minutes strength training with trainer
10 minutes on eliptical .86 mile to hard to use elipitcal with aircast boot on stitches come out next tuesday.:)
1:00 on bike 13.01 miles.

Hope everyone is well back to running next week:banana: . Not a happy camper without my daily run. It is like not having that morning cup of coffee. Oh well at least now I can ride a bike. GO WARRIORS:cheer2:

Carrie...I do have miles to add to my XT on Monday, It was 40 min total and 4.8 miles total.

Today, I ran 2 miles. A 14:16 pace. Yay! My total was 2.5 miles and 35 minutes.

Did a 50 min instead of a run last night, but at least I got my time adn steps in.
 
Haven't been able to post in a couple of days....

Tuesday = 5.5 miles and 70 minutes total.
Thursday = 4.5 miles and 55 minutes total.

My running coach has me starting time trials the week after next, so my mileage will drop initially as my speed improves. (This was my choice....I told him that one of my goals was to improve my overall speed. I am currently running 11:15 - 12:00 mm. I don't feel the need to ever get truly fast, but I would like to be doing at least 10 mm, so we'll see how it goes.)

Hi team!

Went for my lunchtime walk - wow was it windy - 50 min/3 miles.

We got an exercise bike yesterday, so I'm planning on trying it out tonight.

keep up the great work!
 
Hey guys-

Did a smaller run tonight as absolutely worn out (and i can pretend it's tapering!). 3 miles just over 30mins.

Last night shift tonight :surfweb: Just found out the weather on sunday for my race- hail, windy and approx 5 degrees centigrade! I was planning on wearing my shiny running shorts, now i've only really got tracksuit bottoms that would keep me warm enough. Grr. Don't mind rain or hail but wind i can't stand! So tempted to back out, but not going to- warriers don't get beaten by the weather!!!! One day left for this week, keep going!
 
Hello to all WARRIORS!!!!

Couldn't go out and walk after work:sad2: , I had a Podiatrist appt to keep an eye on two toenails that have been overused from the 3 half marathons I did Jan-Feb 08. The one toenail on my right foot is about 1/2 in size and the townail on my left foot is about 1/3 there. I know I killed my right toe during the ING Miami Half Marathon - my sock was bunched up around it.
Also my dog (13year old female Border Terrier) was at the vets all day having a different test done to see if she has Cushings Disease. She has been tested 3 other times and the last was about a year ago. The vet swears she has it, but the tests results have not been conclusive. She has all the symptons except a distended belly. In a way I hope she has it, because she can be treated and alot of her other issues can be resolved.

Kate: Don't give up on your race (unless it is just horrible on raceday!) GOod luck and I know you will Warrior through and get r done!.

JimB. - your right about the wind...it's been very windy here in S. FLorida for the last 3-4 days. Do you have the rain yet from the front that is swining through. I'm suppose to get it tomorrow and Saturday.


- I have the day off tomorrow, Good Friday and my BIRTHDAY!:cool1: . I will try to get some walking in at some point hopefully if its not raining too hard. I have my massage appointment tomorrow, I can't wait!!
I have a racewalking training lesson on Saturday as long as the weather cooperates.

Hello fellow Warriors! Today I did 3.3 miles in 56 minutes. You all inspire me!!!!
 
I got 2 miles in yesterday in 28 min and a combined XT of weightlifting the past few days of 60 minutes.

Tracy - Sorry about your dog! I hope she will be ok. (I'm sorry about your toenails too)

Really! You can start again already so soon. I know for you Tuesday seems like ages, but wow, that seems quick. I'm jealous. Good for you!
