Walt's story on Netflix!

I know I just posted on this board about something completely unrelated but...

If anyone is interested, there's a new movie about Walt's story on Netflix. It's called "Walt before Mickey", and it is actually very good. I definitely ended up crying in the end, so it may be worth watching it.

I'll def look for it. I've been listening to the "Connecting With Walt" podcast series and have learned some really interesting things. I recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

We saw the movie last year when it was in theaters in limited release... definitely a must for disneyphiles

I watched it...I liked it, but it seemed to be missing something, and it could be just my rose-colored vision of Walt, but it seems like the spark was missing and he was just an average guy.

I also just watched the 4 hour PBS documentary on Walt Disney via Amazon, that was interesting also...spent a lot of time about his dispute with his animators and unionizing and his anti-communist stance.

He really did have a problem with dealing with employees who disagreed with him it seems like, but that also made him a better businessman possibly.
