WALT'S APARTMENT!! & a mini trip report

So cool! I wish there was a way to know if you'd get to see Walt's Apartment. ODD has been wanting to do this tour and I would book in a heartbeat if we could guarantee it.

Ah!!! Walt's Apartment?! I would love to go. Knowing my luck I'd book and get the Royal Suite tour, which also seems cool... but not as awesome as WALT'S APARTMENT!

The tour of the Royal suite is considerably larger than Walt's apartment. The apartment has multiple rooms and balcony, whereas Walt's apartment is the living room, a bathroom, and the outdoor patio. I actually enjoyed both tours very much.

That's a good point about being able to see more with the Royal Suite.

Agreed. I've done them both, and I enjoyed them both but for very different reasons. Walt's apartment, for the historical aspect of it (and because completely fortuitously, Bob Gurr latched onto our tour group and visited the apartment with us) and the Royal Suite just because it's SO FREAKING COOL and has so many amazing things hidden in it.

Finally got to go on the tour. They were very accommidating for me on my scooter. I did have to transfer to a wheelchair, used an elevator in the back lot area and down a long ramp to the room. It was difficult to see into the bathroom though since the wheelchair could not fit through the door. Learning about the whole experience was awesome.
