Thanks for the reply. It was a room view/location. I’ll just check in at the desk…can’t hurt to talk to an actual person and hopefully get the request met@Sammy IMHO if you've made a room request I've found being there in person is better.
What type of request was it? If you booked a view room and you're asking for a certain area that's possible, but trying to upgrade from a non-view room to a view room probably won't work.
Yes—he folded the back of the seat forward and adjusted the roller forward. It was quite easy to “reassemble once we saw how it was done. They use a ramp to “drive” it under the coach. Thanks for the information. Do they have to collapse the scooter some for under bus storage?

There is a convention and all the rooms are booked. Decent odds even if you tried to book it, it wouldn’t book. What would be the reason for a double no view room at the Dolphin for 1 night on Nov 8 to be 1757 as the lowest rate?
Thnx. I love this group. There is a convention and all the rooms are booked. Decent odds even if you tried to book it, it wouldn’t book.
That is the Marriott Dynamic Pricing tool in action. As the number of rooms drop to critical level the pricing is just nuts. Any time you see a regular room over $600 just keep looking. What would be the reason for a double no view room at the Dolphin for 1 night on Nov 8 to be 1757 as the lowest rate?

Well that sure sounds great. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy those cups of coffee.Just a quick FYI, but I got an email from the Dolphin regarding my upcoming stay and a potential upgrade. That was a first for me, so I called to check on it, and I was able to upgrade my resort view room to a balcony room for only $20!! That same room via the website was a good deal pricier than that, for sure. So, it may always be worth calling to see if any upgrades are available. Can't wait to have my morning coffee next week sitting on my balcony at the Dolphin!![]()
At 30 days out, hotels usually release the unused rooms from the block. Check back around then. There is a convention and all the rooms are booked. Decent odds even if you tried to book it, it wouldn’t book.
I would bus to Boardwalk - I stopped relying on Swan/Dolphin buses (and especially late night). What are your thoughts on the last magic kingdom Xmas party on getting back to Swan the less stressful way after a long night. Should we go to TTC and bus- or bus to boardwalk, or would Minnie van be an option that late with the party ending.
I would skip the Swan / Dolphin bus back after special ticket events. And stick to a YC or BW bus at the Resort loop and a nice walk back to the Swan. Minnie Van pickup will also be limited but worth a quick check on Lyft as you make your way out of the park exit, and walking to GF or CR to queue up to grab a Lyft / Uber would be my third choice. What are your thoughts on the last magic kingdom Xmas party on getting back to Swan the less stressful way after a long night. I was with @SteveH until he mentioned even considering the Swan / Dolphin bus via the TTC late at night after a party. Once you get out to the bus area by Monorail or Ferry to the TTC your only other option will only be an Lyft / Uber.Really even including taking the S/D bus it's just a toss up of unknown factors.
Least stressful- MV, but they stop at midnight or 12:30 and might be hard to come by before that. They now have a sign at their stop at MK with closing time so if you get dropped off by one it’s easy to double check that. If that’s no go I would walk to CR and rideshare. If that’s no go because you need car seats then BW bus. What are your thoughts on the last magic kingdom Xmas party on getting back to Swan the less stressful way after a long night. I'm with the PPs. Skip the S&D bus. What are your thoughts on the last magic kingdom Xmas party on getting back to Swan the less stressful way after a long night. Should we go to TTC and bus- or bus to boardwalk, or would Minnie van be an option that late with the party ending.
I also delt BW was longer than going to YC, likely due to the longer path to the lobby and then needing to take the elevator down to the boardwalk (due to scooter). I’m sure the distance between YC and BW are negligible but it sure seems more of a PIA to go biz BWI'm with the PPs. Skip the S&D bus.
It has been my experience that the Minnie Van at the end of any evening takes inordinately long. I have sat there and watched other families walk up and get their vans while I sat and waited. It took a bit before they even added S&D to the Minnie Van service and my gut says we don't have priority. This has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME. I always have a long wait end of evening MK.
If my knee is bothering me, I'll wait. If I'm feeling up to it, I'll take the Y&B C and walk from the YC. (For the Dolphin). I might suggest BW if at the Swan but they have an elevator I need to use and it feels much farther to me.
S&D locations have the same priority as Disney proper. The reason you saw people just walk up to their MV, even at peak times like after MK fireworks or MK close, is because they ordered it way ahead of you and tracked it on their phone...
