There might all ready be a thread about this, but I think it was asking a specific question.

For those who do not know, WDW launched a new disneyworld.com today with the new My Disney Experience feature online. The site seems like it's part of NextGen and FP+ could fit in nicely. More integration between the MDE app and the site seems to also be prime with this new site.

Hopefully, it's better than the old one. Thoughts?

P.S. Disney decided to test FP viewing location for IllumiNations today.

I tried the new site on another computer besides my regular home computer and once you login, it asks you to confirm all your demographic info and add 2 security questions. Then you have to read the Terms/Conditions box and there is a checkbox at the bottom to check. The next button NEVER becomes active on the new website - at least when I tried it earlier today. I went through and double-checked every field that was required with an asterik and it still would not activate. I am sticking with the older version at home - I am very computer literate and seems the new site needs a bit more testing. Maybe it was my version of IE on the other computer, I use FireFox at home, but I will let others dabble a bit more before I try it again.

One can only hope that they've improved it. Then again... ;)

Ugh, my dining reservations are not on the new site and we just did them this week. :confused3 We apparently have to get all of the reservations confirmations and enter each one. :laundy:

My dining reservations are still there. I was worried for a minute. I hope everyone has good luck.

ugh. this is horrible. i can't add in my hotel ressie, i got most of my dining ones added in manually but clicked wrong so now one is in my husbands name and i can't change it. did they even test this at all before they foisted this upon the public?

Seriously, they couldn't transfer resort and dining reservations :furious:

yeah my resort reservation doesnt come up...

I didnt even try dining. I cant get back to my ressie. :confused3

From what I am seeing, this site is still pretty crappy and a royal pain in the butt :headache:

Im really glad I have all my reservations and ADR conformation numbers saved in a spreadsheet already. Seriously this is crap.

Don't see your package or hotel reservation?
If you did not book your vacation on disneyworld.com, you may have to manually link your reservation to your account.

And if you did, you are outta luck! :confused3:rotfl2::lmao:

I still see the same crap, and I have never been able to see my dining reservations, so this is nothing new to me.

Wow, Im surprised everyone is having issues.

I went to the site, without doing anything front page has a countdown to my next vacation, with a customized banner with the hotel we are staying at, a link to all my dining reservations and a link to my hotel reservation.

Im quite impressed for disney. I hope it rolls out to the iphone app soon.

Mine looked like that before the change - at disneyparks.go.com or whatever it was. Now that I clicked "try the new site" I cant get back there, it loops to the new one, where I cant see my resort reservation. I got my dining reservations linked back up, but no go on the resort. (and really, they couldnt transfer data from one to the other? really? in this day and age??!)

ETA: I changed browsers and was able to go to the old version of the website and see all my stuff. They can keep working and I'll try the "improved" site another day.

I can only hope that food allergies noted for ADRs were "remembered" by the system.

Well maybe thats it, am I still using the old site? I don't see any link to new site.

I did notice the ios app is having some issues as well. Maybe the rollout did not go so well.

I refuse to worry one bit about this until it fully rolls out and has been done for a week or so. Disney doesn't seem to finish things before unveiling them, so I figure that they are still moving the info over.

Regarding the allergies, aren't we also supposed to contact the email address given while booking when it gets closer to the trip anyway, about allergies?

The site that comes up for us as Canadians is still the old one. Just to be safe I went and copied and pasted all my reservation numbers into a word document because I had been lazy and hadn't done that yet. So I am prepared if anything is lost, but for now it looks the same as always with no link.
