Walt Disney Travel Company???

I called CRO (or thought that I did) and booked a package for our summer trip and received my receipt and paperwork. It was from the "Walt Disney Travel Company". Is this the official name of the reservations department (ie, same as the CRO) or did I call a travel agency by mistake?

Sorry to sound so clueless ...

Also, I always thought that connecting rooms were not guaranteed, but my reservation says they are. Is this something new?
